This chair smells so incredibly bad. The cushion has a distinctive intense chemical smell that just won't go away! I've tried all the suggestions the internet and friends have offered, short of catching it on fire, and nothing helps. This was bought for my home office but I can smell it from the other room. I have to get rid of it which is really disappointing. It's cute and comfy but the smell is too much. I'm too lazy to disassemble it, so I guess it's money lost. Oh and some of the screw holes just wouldn't line up. I'm pretty darn good at this sort of thing too. Long story short, don't buy this. ... show more

There are some reviews that say the screws are hard to align. I’d have to agree completely. I’ve put together quite a few pieces of furniture and this was one of the more difficult ones to assemble. But once you get the screws in it’s a decent chair. Good for my 10 year old. I’d give it 3.5/5.

Easy to put together. Although it is a little smaller than the one I am replacing. My other chair seat measured about 20 1/2” and this one is 18”. Not sure if it’s because of the placement of the arm rest that is a tighter fit. For reference I am 5’4” and 190 lbs and I am able to sit comfortably.
