This fit my need for a kitchen garbage can for perishable and non-perishable waste. Size is good, and the double levers seem sturdy. There are holes at the top of the bin to stuff the excess bag to make the bag fit tight on the bin rim. Finish is good. Mine arrived undamaged in a very stout product box. As others have said, the bins are a little deep for a standard 13 gallon garbage bag, but easy to fix by putting some hard foam blocks or old tupperware containers upside-down at the bottom of the bin.

Finally something that isn’t in a million pieces, so easy to put together! The foot powered opening and closing seems solid. The recycle bin is green making it easy for guests to see what side is recycling. It is good quality for less than competing ones.

It’s clean and modern. I like that there is a garbage and recycle section that are removable, but when you line them with a garbage bag you’ll need to tuck them in. The recycle can fill up fast. May be better not to place a garbage bag in that side. I also like that they are color coded to different between trash and recycle side.

I read a lot of the reviews before purchasing and the only complaint I have is that you have to fit your trash bag neatly on the removable bin before putting it in the trash can. If you don’t, it won’t close. This is perfect for a smaller household (2-3) people. If you have a lot of garbage, it’s not the can for you! Looks great in my kitchen. Fits perfectly in the spot I had in mind for it.
