We love it! It provides additional shade and privacy. It also helps in breezes to keep the awning from bouncing, though you still need to take it in in the wind but the zipper makes that easy.

Bought this for extra privacy because our lots are very close together. It isn't like a fence but it gives you a sense of privacy. It's strong and holds up to the wind, the straps are decent but the ball at the end flew off during a gust. I had zip ties handy so I just used that to secure it.
