Easy to install. My 10 year old and I installed it within 15 minutes. The mesh seems to be thick and durable. The size matches the awning perfect. I upgraded the tie down steaks to helical anchors. The zipper lets you leave the top section attached to the awning and you can roll it up in it when not in use. If you normally travel in groups like us and don't like hosting, don't get it. Everyone flocks to it. I recommend playing your wind right in your setup, so you get a good cross breeze. The fabric is thick enough to block the wind, so it could work for the opposite situation. Looks great and we love it. The price was the best we found too, huge plus!

The media could not be loaded. ***Update: they replaced our shade quickly. The replacement was in excellent condition and has worked beautifully since! It’s now almost June and it’s been perfect thru all kinds of weather and lots of up and down, also because of weather. For this price point, you really can’t go wrong! (Unless it’s falling apart, but get that replaced asap) We checked so many different options and this one came with the best reviews of its quality and awesome shade. Being in Florida, shade is a MUST! We purchased this as a Christmas gift to ourselves and found it was super easy to install, it even came with tie downs (I purchased others separately but didn’t need) and provided amazing shade. As soon as we installed it, we saw a slight gap in the sewing. We went to take it down when we were going out (as we don’t leave it out when not home) and the zipper snapped right off. So two failure points with less than a week of it being up. Would like to try a replacement vs just a return, and will update from there. For now, I gets all the stars for shade but brings it down to ONE star because it didn’t even last a week.

I bought this over a month ago so I’ve given it some time before reviewing. We stay in the camper full-time January through March each year and, thankfully, there’s a lot of hot sunshine. This shade is amazing quality! I love the fact that you not only get shade but it also provides a level of privacy from fellow RV’ers. The other thing I love is the zipper to detach over 3/4ths of it when you want to take it down and put away. The remaining piece just rolls up with your awning - so easy. It takes less than two minutes to reinstall. Highly recommend!
