  • Cover for camper door
Best thing I could have ever bought kept the cold weather out on those cold winter days and the warmth inside. Only thing I don’t like is the Velcro not wanting to stay put kept having to put back up at the top but otherwise great . Well worth the money!!

  • It is really long
I was going to use it at my RV but it is too long for the doorway and so I need to cut it. I have not taken the time to do so yet. I may go with plan B and chainsaw the doorway taller? Sound good? What could go wrong?

  • Poor Quality and Ineffective
I recently purchased this insulating curtain for my RV and am very disappointed. Here are the main issues: 1. Velcro Strips Fell Off: Within less than 8 hours of use, the Velcro strips detached, making it impossible to secure the curtain properly. 2. Thin Material and Light Leakage: The curtain is extremely thin and allows light to pass through. It’s clear that the insulation filling is minimal, providing virtually no thermal protection. This product is poorly made and fails to meet basic insulation needs. I recommend looking at other brands to avoid wasting time and money. ... show more

  • Awesome! Works Great? It is saving me a ton of money on fuel!
I am thoroughly impressed with this Thermal Insulated RV Door Cover – Magnetic Closure for Draft-Free openings. It works perfectly!! It's about 30 degrees outside today and although the door has been open about half the day; this door cover has sealed with the magnets so quickly and the material is so insulated that my RV has stayed warm and toasty!! I cannot believe have well this thing works. It's keeping the draft that The door always seems to have, from keeping my place cold now! it's so awesome! Installation was super easy and straightforward. They give you plenty of material to be able to velcro the top and both sides so that you just have to push through the center of this and it opens up for you and once you go through the maintenance just snap all back together. The Velcro that they give you has a tab that you peel up and the paper peels off and it's super sticky on the back so you just stick it down. Did you also provide you with like these little tiny thumbtack things so no matter what you won't have a problem with the Velcro coming up and the glue failing. I really don't think I'll have a problem with this glue failing because this is really quality stuff and I did make sure it was a little bit heated and warm before I tacked it down. I definitely want another one of these to put going down the hallway to the back room. If I don't have to heat back there, I'll be using a lot less fuel to keep this place warm. Saving a bunch of money on fuel makes me a happy camper!! ... show more

  • center closes nicely, could use stronger fastening
This door cover may appeal differently to those looking for cold protection vs heat protection. There is not much insulation and I do not expect the hook and loop tape to stay attached : the cover is too heavy for tape in my view - especially in the heat (see below for a solution), BUT, I find this cover is a great start... I like that the magnets snap together so nicely down the center after you walk through. I like that all the work of sizing, quilting, edging, adding magnets at the correct locations, and sewing on the loop part of hook and loop has all been done for me. Because this cover has the basics covered with a foundation and means of attachment, adding extra thermal backing would not be hard if desired...several ties attached to both this cover and an additional fluffy thermal barrier would do the trick (provided like me, you added screws to the tape) I wish to use it on a bus - where the door is split in half - so I haven't decided if I should cut the top into two, or leave it. Either way, I expect the top hook tape will benefit from some screws to keep the weight from pulling it down. (If your door frame is metal of some kind, look for self-tapping metal screws.) I don't think there is any problem with the hook and loop solution itself, just the stickiness and longevity of tape. I can tell you from experience, that keeping the sun from beating in through bus doors is a problem that needs fixing in hot weather, and trying to hang towels over the opening is ineffective. I am very happy with this because it goes a long way toward fixing that issue. ... show more
