  • Good Old Fashioned Ugly Stripping That Works Great
Size: 1 Roll Style: Extra Large Gap
After so many reviews I don't think that there is much I can add about this stripping. This is just good old fashion foam style weather stripping that can more than do the trick on gaps in windows, doors, etc.. It looks like hell, but for many of us, including myself, some of the gaps and drafts I have in mind for this are well past caring about any looks. Its super sticky and attaches itself to most surfaces effortlessly. Personally I found that on metal surfaces I could peel it off and reattach it without ripping it. So in my opinion it can be pulled off and reattached if done immediately, or within a few minutes after installing. Also, the white strip on this, despite other reviewers here having various theories on it is simply there to keep the foam from sticking together while its rolled up, nothing more. It doesn't make any difference if you apply it with it on or off. Personally, I prefer it off for I have seen the foam shift after applying it and then peeling it off and then you have to re position it. All in all, good old fashioned, non new fangled foam strip that works great and comes at a fair price here on Amazon... ... show more

  • Duck Brand weather strip seal
I bought this product to use as a seal between my removable camper cover and the bed of my pickup truck. I first applied it, using the sticky side, all the way around the cover which was suspended above the pickup bed by a cable attached to an electric hoist. It stuck and stayed very well. I then lowered the cover on to the bed of the truck and clamped the two together. The seal was perfect. We then took the truck on a 3000 mile fishing trip to Louisiana. During the trip, we encountered several rain downpours and the seal created by the Duck Brand weather strip held magnificently. Like all the Duck Brand products I have ever used, this one performed admirably and better than any other weather stripping I have ever used. I would recommend this product to any and everyone with a need to make a tight seal between two items. ... show more

  • Great weather stripping
Size: 1 Roll Style: Extra Large Gap
Great weather stripping, however, do not stretch it as you apply! If you stretch it , it will pull the paint off of the surface and you will have to apply your own adhesive. I only did that in two small sections. This is a good, very effective weather stripping product. I reordered. Very easy to apply. ... show more

  • Got Doggie Door ? Get this too !
Size: 1 Roll Style: Extra Large Gap
I just LOVE this stuff ! It accomplished what my handyman could not. After installing a PetSafe pet door LOVE IT !!!!) - the kind that attaches to your sliding glass door - there was a gap large enough to see through without even trying, between the Doggie panel and my SGD. I asked the handyman about it he installed it for me and he shrugged. This weather-strip was the first thing that came to mind and I ran a strip from top to bottom in under a minute and Ta-Da ! I was disappointed in my handyman, who should have come up with something on his own. This seal tape was great for keeping water from running into my ground floor from the sliding-glass-door bottom tracks when we had a hurricane last summer. I also ran a strip vertically in a gap created by leaving the door permantly open happens when the pet door is put installed ). I like how one side is nice and smooth - good for sliding on moving sides - and the other is just peel and stick. Not so sticky that it gets caught on itself, your hair or fingers and you can move it to straighten it out where needed. Make sure your surface is clean or you'll just waste the glue on your dirt and dust. There was a moving portion where I applied this weather strip that needed extra help to hang on that I added some Plumbers Glue to. Now my door slides open, the tape running smooth side down, fitting perfectly in the track on the bottom. Yay ! I just love it when something works ! I use the smaller stripping for gaps in windows. Combined with "weatherizing" some windows in the winter (Scotch brand window kits), it keeps the wind from howling through the ground floor like it used to. Huge difference in the heating bill. Girls, throw some of this in your tool box or plastic tub like I do along with duct tape and WD-40, a toilet repair kit and ...well you get the picture.. and save money on the easy jobs by doing it yourself. There are videos of almost everything being fixed "step by step" on Youtube and DIY sites. ... show more

  • A great fit
Size: 1 Roll Style: Extra Large Gap
I have used this extra-large size weatherstrip seal for years on the frame of my door to cover the gaps. It keeps my apartment warm preventing the cold air from seeping in. It also soundproofs my apartment so that I don't hear my neighbors outside in the hallway. So it really makes a difference in my every day life. I wasn't sure if extra-large would be too big but was glad I ordered this size as any smaller would not have had that snug fit. I also use it to cover some gaps around my window whenever I install my portable air conditioner in the summer and it works great. ... show more

  • Nice and easy ;)
Size: 1 Roll Style: Extra Large Gap
He replaced the damaged rubber seals in the lover section of the windows very easy, and its sticks pretty well. The rubber foam is much more superior than any poly-foams. Not to hard - not too soft, and it's density is just right. I placed leftovers under food processor and it works much much quieter:) Nice product for very low price... ... show more

  • Keeps the Draft Out, Doesn't Stay Stuck for Long
Size: 1 Roll Style: Extra Large Gap
This got the job done, but not without some extra work. My door had gaps around the frame that were not equal width, and despite reviews that said this stuff was compressible, I couldn't get the door shut once I put it on. Ended up going around and cutting it down as needed inch by inch. It shut fine then and really kept the draft out. However, if you're using this on a door that you open and close frequently, don't expect it to be long lasting. There were particular portions that became routine to re-stick every time we used the door - like expecting the top portion to fall on our head was so commonplace that we started putting our arms up to catch it as we turned the handle. If you need this for sealing something that you *don't* open or close, I would say it's definitely a good option. And honestly, since we rent, it was probably the best thing we could do even though it was inconvenient. ... show more

  • Works just fine.
Size: 1 Roll Style: Extra Large Gap
It does the job. The adhesive is sticky enough but not too sticky so that it leaves glue behind. I liked the thickness because there was more insulation, but I think if there is an extra large gap, the tape should also be wider and not just thick, especially if you are trying to block, for instance, a gap under a door. If it's just thick you'd have to tape it to the floor or the bottom surface of the door. If it were wider, you could just tape it hanging along the bottom edge of the door. For the price, I thought it wasn't a bad deal. ... show more
