  • BOOM! This is a Game-Changer. Big Name-Brand Endoscope Who?
I truly cannot say enough good about this endoscope. Admittedly, I don't work in the trades, but as a lifelong auto enthusiast and a passionate home improvement DIYer, this endoscope has changed the game. I had a little $12 endoscope that attached to my phone at one point last year, but it was involved in an incident and got destroyed. Being without an endoscope these past few months and planning some big automotive projects this summer, I knew I had to get another. Enter the Depstech. This is actually my second small electronic/tool from this company (the first was a rotary tool), and I am even more sold this time around. I've come to really enjoy this company and its products. Upon first powering it up, I was really impressed by the clarity and appearance of the screen. While I've never held a four- to five-hundred-dollar borescope, I can't imagine they are much better than this. The light on both lenses is plenty sufficient for 99% of jobs. The screen is very bright and very clear. One of my favorite things about this model is the grip on the right side. See the last photo in my review. This big block gives you plenty to hold on to and instills a lot of confidence when working outside or under the hood, without worrying about dropping it and breaking it. The controls are very easy to figure out, likely without even looking at the manual. Within two minutes of turning it on, I was already able to switch the camera lenses, increase the screen brightness, and enhance the lens light brightness, etc., without looking through the manual. It's a very powerful tool that's very easy to use, no matter your experience level. It comes with a nice drawstring carry bag, a hook and magnet attachment, and the manual. [Please note: the curvy lines you likely see on the screen are from my camera's refresh rate—the screen and camera images look truly excellent in person. All images taken in lower lighting to demonstrate the LED lighting] The picture of the button on the glasses case is the main lens (with the light on). The picture of the full glasses case is with the side lens (with the light on). All in all, for this price, don't look anywhere else; THIS is the one. ... show more

  • THIS IS AWESOME!
I wish there was an option for 6 stars because I think a lot of items are given 5 stars just because the product does what it's supposed to do. This item goes far beyond. It's really a great piece of equipment. Instruction Manual is Well Written I write this to demonstrate how well-thought out this entire product is. Like many products coming from China, the craftsmanship is poor. They might use cheap plastic or parts. And the broken English in the instruction manual is a good indicator. The manual in this is completely fluent. I'm guessing they paid a 3rd-party to write it. The manufacturer really did a great job. Screen is Crisp and Clean As other reviewers have noted, the picture quality on this is pretty good. It actually seems like a shame to put such a nice screen on an item that you will only use infrequently. Purchase Recommendation This thing is awesome. This has all the bells and whistles. I have a cheaper endoscope, and this thing kicks its ass. This thing is extremely well built. The plastic doesn't feel cheap. The buttons feel solid. And everything works well. If you need an endoscope, get this! TO THE SELLER: I only have 2 suggestions to the seller. First, it would be great if this included a carrying case. (This includes a thin plastic bag instead.) I know that this would increase the cost and the final sales price of the product, but I think it's worth it. Second, include 1 lower level of brightness. Right now, it goes from very bright to 2 slightly lower level of brightness to no light at all. There should be one additional level there above the no-light level. Another suggestion would be to add articulating ability (able to move the camera head around via controller), but I know other brands with this ability are selling for twice the price. If this product could articulate, this would be a slam dunk. Everyone would buy this at this price! ... show more

  • Stiff cable to push into a hole and move around. Good Picture!
The media could not be loaded. The Dual lens Endoscope Camera has a nice light and good picture. The Camera is not removable but it is a stiff cord that will bend and hold the shape if you need to look around around throuh a hole. You can push the camera through a pipe or into a cylinder. You also have a side camera that will look 90 deg to the end of the camera. It is easy to slide into a hole in a wall and look at what is inside. There is the lighht on the end as well as a light on the side if you are using the side camera. The menu and functions are easy to navigate. It comes with a magnet and a hook that you can attach to the camera if you need to fish something out of a hole. The screen is large and easy to hold. You can see what you need right on the screen without taking a picture or video. If you want to take a picture or video, you have to purchase a micro SD card to do so. The picture and video are clear. If you are videoing with the end camera you cannot switch to the side camera without stopping the video and starting a new one. Not a big deal but I was going to do it for an example since only one video is allowed per review. I didn't connect to the camera from a laptop, but I removed the SD card and downloaded the pictures from the card to my computer. I had a 64GB card, so I put it in and formatted it. The formatted size was just under 64MB. I note that because the specs said a 32GB card was the largest card it would take. The camera was packaged really well and works great. ... show more
