It’s saved her wedding band once so in my opinion it paid for itself. It also included a memory card which I didn’t know I thought was very nice. The LEDs are extremely bright and make visualizing any clog or item very easy. The carrying case is extremely sturdy and well-built. My husband is basically a jack of all trades. If the faucet is leaky he is the plumber, if car is making a ping he is the mechanic, and so on. Having a tool like this on hand makes his job so much easier. We are actually pretty impressed with the picture quality and how well you can make out and see with the camera probe. It has a ring of leds around the end of it which is super useful since most places you would need this is usually in a deep dark hole. We were a bit hesitant to order as I wasn't sure it was something we would make use of to justify the cost however I am so glad we did. My husband has used it a few times trying to diagnose issues with our vehicles and in our home. The drain was draining a bit slow so he used this camera down the shower grate to the drain (which is pretty gross) but he did find build up and was able to use a snake to clear it out. Another nice feature is it comes in a nice quality hard plastic case. He can easily carry it around and not have to worry about damaging it. We are very satisfied with this camera. It is easy to use and has a nice clear picture. There is plenty of cord for you to send the camera quite a ways out depending on where your problem is.     • Saved a $3,000 car a/c repair bill
I bought this endoscope because I did not believe what I was being told that my car air conditioner system had a leak in the evaporator coil which requires the entire dash assembly to be removed and the repair cost of $3,000. I snaked the scope camera through the dash vent fins down inside the dash to take a look at the evap coil and expected to see green leak dye if the coil was leaking. Guess what, no signs of leaking, and while the scope was still inside the dash, I drove my car back to the dealer and showed them the live pictures and asked if it was leaking, why was no green dye visible? The tech came out and cringed, and said that he determined the evap coil was leaking because he could “smell” the refrigerant inside the car. They later determined the leak was at one of the Schrader valves and embarrassingly replaced it for no charge. Overall the picture is great, the functionality works, the scope is long enough for any job, and the light for the camera illuminates in dark spaces. ... show more

Had immediate need for small high definition bore scope to use in my engine and car rebuilds. Small (5mm) dual camera allowed me to inspect, ports, cylinder bores, valves and seats, and crankcase quickly and non-intrusively. The size of the camera head and dual camera mode made this possible. Images were very clear in the focus range specified. At distances greater then the closeup focus it appeared to me like looking through reader glasses at a distance. Easy enough to see the surroundings and get a good idea just not in focus. This is great close up bore scope. ... show more

    • Great Scope
I have an aircraft and have used several inexpensive scopes before and was never really happy with the video quality. This scope is great. The only thing it's missing is and articulating head, but it so small it can fold onto itself and still snake through spark plug holes and look back at valves.

    • It lasted 3 months
Almost everything was perfect about this camera, until it wasn’t. My husband is a mechanic and ALWAYS has a need for viewing enclosed spaces. He’s also suffering a bit from digital blindness (can’t see anything up close anymore, without reading glasses). So I was afraid he wouldn’t be able to see the screen very well. As long as he wore his glasses, he could see fine details perfectly, but wearing glasses was a given anyway. He was never able to get the side camera to work at all, but the main cam was perfect and he LOVED it. Then, as a mechanic obviously would eventually, he got grease on it. He cleaned the grease off with a bit of rubbing alcohol and a microfiber, absorbent towel and it worked fine for the rest of the day. The next time he went to use it; nothing. The camera doesn’t show an image at all. I’m quite tech savvy, and he just told me about this today, so I told him to bring it home and let me check it out. I would’ve waited to place this review until I could check it out, but honestly, I’m quite angry that it only worked well for a few months. It’s really not ok for you to sell something for $140 that only lasts a few months. I’ll update IF I can get it working, but won’t add stars, as when paying that much for something, you shouldn’t have to work on it in such a short time. ... show more

    • Happy and disappointed with this camera.
The camera appears to be very good with a great picture. Lots of functions, relatively easy to use. Extremely disappointed that it will not even push through a long radius 90 sewer line. That is the reason I got it. I read on other reviews that some people hooked it to a fish tape to make it work so I will try that. I did not have one at the time and frankly should not need one. ... show more

    • What A Difference Quality Makes
This camera is fantastic. I say so because it has replaced another "similar" type camera - probe purchased at a building supply store. This Camera has recently been extremely helpful with my current home construction renovations. It has been useful with the chimney inspection - both fireplace and boiler flues, wall insulation needs, hidden electrical wiring issues and even with a discovery of a bird's nest over my porch roof. The two camera feature is extremely helpful. I'm thinking about purchasing an optional camera probe accessory which has self focusing capabilities. ... show more
