Good product

Perfect for homeowners!
Size: 10 Ft 0.31 in Armored Snake
A homeowner must have! You can figure out a lot of problems when you can get in close to see them and holy moly does this thing help. It would probably be best on a tablet, for easier viewing, but on a phone you can still easily figure out what's going on. The USB connector is as solid as your port so make sure your phone hasn't taken too many tumbles. While pretty bare bones for a pro it has more than enough reach, light, and camera for the average joe and beats shoving your phone god knows where.

Disapointment.
Size: 10 Ft 0.31 in Armored Snake
The one disapointment I've ever had with a Klein product. The boroscope itself is really good overall. There are two flaws. A) the cable from the usb to the device should have been longer. B) total fail on the app. I have multiple Android devices that fall within the advertised recommendations. The only one it will work with is an anciend Samsung tablet with batteries that last about 2min and just barely passes spec.

Avoid! Disappointed in Klein Tools
Size: 10 Ft 0.31 in Armored Snake
Borescope worked for three days incredibly intermittently. Now it flashes and loses connection. Plug it into a co workers iPhone and the USB lights stay on. Issue is definitely software related. I teach and train newbies in hvac. They ask me what kind of tools to get and I will NOT be recommending klein anymore! Living off of a legacy but no longer making good tools. If you can't make something good affordable, then don't make it and put your name on it!

Annoying to keep connected to a phone while using it.
Size: 10 Ft 0.31 in Armored Snake
An extension cord would be a good idea but this is very obvious from the pictures of the tool, otherwise it's awesome and exceeded my expectations of clarity and usefulness of the LEDs. Fantastic capabilities for the price, seems durable and long lasting except for the wire that connects to a phone, it's obvious that is where mine will fail first but I can simply keep this in mind for a tool I don't use often. Pro tip: rotate while bending it slightly to check the orientation before inserting it into a hole.

Does the job, but very annoying and micro usb port stopped working after a week
Size: 10 Ft 0.31 in Armored Snake
After only a week the micro usb port stopped working so i can only use type c now. Not the biggest deal but my tablet is micro usb and nicer to have a bigger image somerimes. Camera quality is decent, nothing spectacular but not to grainy. Its very hard to keep 1 hand on the camera and 1 hand on the cord so it doesnt rip out of ur phone/device. Sometimes when moving the camera around it will wiggle the usb connector and make the app restart which can be very annoying especially when you had the perfect angle you needed. I bought this ET16 model ($39) over the more expensive wireless ET20 ($89) because i only use it briefly but after realizing how hard it is to try n keep the camera cord still so that its not ripping out of your device and restarting the app, i will be upgrasing to the wireless ET20 model just so i dont have to deal with the corded headache.

Size: 10 Ft 0.31 in Armored Snake
Perfect for DIY or small installs I work in the electrical industry and it makes life just a little bit easier when I'm trying to locate a switch leg in a ceiling and I have very limited room to operate due to can housings.
