So I had a good opportunity to test this...I had ordered DTF ink from another supplier, and the blue was leaking. I sent it back for another......same thing. I figured, why not try out this cleaner? if it can clean out caked up dried ink, surely it can clean a printer. well, the bottle is clean, and the printer, which isn't that dirty does look great. This cleaning solution works really well on my office printer and helped keep everything running smoothly. It was easy to use and did a good job cleaning buildup and residue without making a mess.     • Didn't fix my issues as expected
I got this because I was having some clogging issues with my printer and wanted a cleaning solution instead of immediately replacing parts or the printhead. The kit looked convenient since it included the solution and basic tools, and it claimed compatibility with my type of setup. Unfortunately, it didn’t really solve the problem for me. I followed the instructions carefully, tried both flushing and soaking methods, and ran multiple cleaning cycles afterward, but I didn’t see a meaningful improvement in print quality or nozzle performance. The process itself is straightforward, but the results just weren’t there in my case. The clogs and missing lines I was dealing with didn’t fully clear up, even after repeated attempts.     • Great Budget DTF Printhead Cleaning Kit
This is a set that every DTF printer owner should have on hand! It seems to be formulated very similarly (not confirmed by ingredients since they’re not listed, but confirmed by similar smell, texture & consistency) but it’s a fraction of the cost! This solution is great for gently wiping excess ink from the printhead, or by filling the capping station to let the printhead soak in it for an hour or two if dealing with a bit more stubborn clog. If neither of those work for clearing a clog in the printhead, the set comes with a syringe and tubing that can plug into the nozzle the damper connects to on the printhead and gently flushed. I will warn that this should be a last attempt because too much pressure can permanently damage the printhead. Overall, this solves a majority of printhead ink flow issues and minor clogs and can revive your DTF printhead and improve print quality. ... show more

    • Bought This Before Researching: USE WITH CAUTION
I’m not even sure I should be reviewing this, because I mistakenly ordered it without researching enough beforehand -- I'm giving it 5 stars on the assumption that it works as advertised. After digging in, it’s mainly A CLEANER FOR DTG/DTF (MEANING 'DIRECT TO GARMENT / FABRIC') PRINTERS, not typical pigment inkjet printers like the Epson 7800 I planned to use it on. From what I can tell, the conservative use case on a photo inkjet is limited: you could put a small amount on the cap station as a short soak (1–8 minutes) to loosen residue, but I would not apply it directly to the printhead unless you’re comfortable risking a very expensive repair or head replacement. The other reviewer, at the time I’m writing this, soaked an inkjet head and said it worked for them, but unless you run a garment print shop PLEASE research your application carefully first. These cleaners are optimized for heavy white pigment loads (titanium dioxide) and textile binders, not MicroPiezo piezoelectric printheads, inkjet resins, and dispersants. ... show more

I recently used the DTF/DTG Cleaning Solution Kit (500ml), compatible with various printers, including the F2000, F2100, ET-8550, L1800, L800, XP15000, R2400, P400, P800, and more. This upgraded 16.9oz solution worked wonders on my L1800 print heads and printhead docking station. I soaked the print heads in the cleaning solution overnight, then wiped them with a soft cloth before continuing to print. I had no issues with clogged heads or dirty print lines in my white ink. The included printhead nozzle fits my equipment perfectly. I am very pleased with this product. The cleaning solution is worth the price, and I highly recommend it.
