I have been looking for brown boots. That would fit a short girl and not be too tall for almost a year since I got my new horse who is a buckskin. I am 5'1" and these are perfect height for me and these are 6.5 regular calf. Kind They do have little lines of elastic gussets that give the cat a little GIF. But I can wear them without the gussets expanding. But beware, if you are of an average height or tall. These boots will probably be too short on you. These fault just at the crease in my knee and like I said, I am a short girl. I love the look I've done and the football is so comfortable. You could walk around in these all day long. The seller was super. Amazon had not marked these propelyy and the sizes had no regular or wide next to them. So the first boots I got were wide and I didn't realize it until I looked at the tag on the box that they had sent the wrong size but I reached out to the seller through Amazon. I actually ride horses 10 to 20 miles every day. I normally wear my Dublin Pinnacle riding boots and I absolutely love them. I wanted a slightly sleeker looking boot to alternate with and chose these Moorlands. These look nice and the foot bed is comfortable in and out of the saddle. The vented/elastic upper calf is useful if your calves are large - allows for a little stretch. Mine aren't, so the boots don't stretch there unless your leg is pushing against the material. There are 2 things I really dislike about these compared to the Dublin boots. First is the fact that these do not have a reinforced inner calf for saddle contact. That means over time, the inner leg will wear out faster than the rest of the boot if you're riding hours per day. Second negative is the sheer stiffness of the boots at the top and ankles. Daily wear for a week left literal bruises behind both knees because there's zero give at the top of the boot. Sitting is painful because the boots dig into your knees. The ankles are the same - so stuff there's almost zero flexibility. Tall boots are stiff, but higher end brands break in within a week. A month later and I'm still waiting on these to mold to my leg shape. Way too long. ... show more

Have to say i am suspicious. I have had these exact same boots, size and all and loved every part of them which is why I was will to pay more than inhad previously. The angle in how it puts my ankle had now caused problem wher it feels like I twisted my ankle on the right. Previous pair felt like a cloud on my feet. These not even close. Cant return them since you have to wear, them Ie really put them up not just walk a few steps. Poorly price for a fake imitation. This is not even fitting right. My prepair i could live in them, water proof till right below ankle bone, hiking, barn chirses muddy conditions. These i have no interest in wearing them at all. ... show more

Way smaller than true size. I have always worn a US 8 or 8.5, i ordered a 9 to be safe, it's couldn't even put my foot in it. I would suggest going up 2 sizes. I returned and just got my money back. They look really nice though, wish they would have fit.

Excellent fit and durability. My only complaint is they could be taller as I’m 5’9” so I have long calves. These boots have ample room in the toe box which is important for jumping as all your weight is in the ball and toe area of your boot when you’re in two-point. I bought some Ariat boots recently and their “Medium” width is incredibly narrow (too narrow for me and they don’t offer widths). ... show more

Great boots, I wear them everyday day all day in mud, water, dust, manure etc. Also I can ride in them. Wider to box which I love. The only problem I have, and I do this to all my past boots so don't think it's a problem with how it's made, is when I crouch down on one knee, the other foot at toe is bent and crunched up. After about a year and a half I wreck them, at that spot the leather pulls away from sole. These by far last the longest of all the work boots I have tried. The foot I don't do that too is in perfect condition after a year and a half, so normal people should have no problem;) ... show more
