Several thing I would like to convey in this short review. 1 - The product is excellent. These exceed the quality of the Top Fin PF-L filters by a great margin. The plastic frame is stronger, the filter material better sticks to the frame better, there is more carbon in the filters and these rinse off easier than the OEM brand name filters. 2 - These are cheaper than OEM original brand name filters. 3 - They will last much longer than the OEM original brand name filters if used even ‘semi-correctly” and do regular maintenance on the filters. By regular maintenance you must rinse these filters once per week by putting them in an empty sink and spraying down all the gunk that builds up on the filter. Sometimes twice per week for this step. Overall I highly recommend these filters over the Top Fin PF-L brand name. They are superior in every way.

Cheaper than name brand filters, but they plug up 3-4 times as fast. I don't think they are filtering any better, as the name brand filters last longer and show a much darker color from impurities when I change them. These filters have very little debris in them, and are a very light color when they get to the point that they won't pass water anymore. They are the correct size and install easily, but they don't say what "front" means. It's molded into the tab. Does that mean output side or input side? Spend the extra few dollars and get the real filters.
