This thing is great. It is probably the most versatile heater I have ever had....as it can do a lot....of things. and do them well. So firstly not only is it a heater, but it can also work as a normal fan. Therefore you may be able to just leave it in place for multple seasons...and still use it. With that said it also can oscillate...both left-to-right 90 degrees...but also horizontally I believe 60 degrees. Awesome. It also has a remote control that works well, and has all the functions on the remote, that it has on the panel, so you can do everything...from the remote. Again, awesome. and on top of all that...it has 3 heating/cooling settings (low/med/high essentially), an eco mode, which uses less electricity by automatically adjusting the temperature based on the room temperature from time to time, and....you can even set it to your desired temperature too. (Also almost forgot timer mode, 1-12 hours as well.) Its A LOT. Very well thought-out item, that can give you so much variability in how you want to use it. Excellent. It also looks sleek and appealing in white, and fits in nicely in both my living room and bed room. The only minor negative I have here is that as it is good at dispering warm air around...sortof like a warm fan...it doesn't feel super-toasty as some heaters do which have a smaller opening just pumping out all the heat from 1 tiny spot. This feels more diffuse...so it still feels great....especially up close to it. But if you are the type of person that likes to sit right near your heater and feel the heat strongly...its not neccesarily going to do that as well as a traditional unit where all the heat is being pumped out into a smaller area. This is more diffuse...which is great for warming a whole room, and general area. Which I think I like better myself. But it defintely still feels slightly toasty....when up close. Just not as much as some traditional unit types. It is still however a strong 1,500 Watts. Which I believe is the standard max wattage for plug in heaters. So it is generating the same heat as other 1,500 watt units will...it just feels different...as its being dispersed around you via a wider fan as opposed to all the heat coming out of 1 vent for instance. Its a bit of a unique feeling...but it totally works for spreading some warmth over your room/half of a room. And can still give you that toasty feeling, somewhat,...if you sit right near it as well. Bottomline: If you want a versatile heater, that can circulate warm air around your room, with lots and lots and lots....of functions...then this is a great choice for you. If you do like to feel blasted by heat coming out of 1 more compact vent, and sit near your heater...you might like a more traditional type, as this is more dispersing the air. But still feels a bit toasty right up next to it, and it definitely does a good job warming things up, esp on setting 3. Another minor negative, and why I would give it 4.5 stars technically, is that it is not very strong as a fan itself though. The heater aspects are all great. Although the strength of the fan feels a little weak...compared to a fan of the same size. The same power feels nice when generating heat..but when expecting cool air from a fan...it doesn't seem as powerful in that regard. Its fan power feels just so-so. So if you are also getting it hoping the fan can really blast you...its not going to do that. It is decent, but adeqaute as a fan. But still with all the very useful versatility...that works for both heating + Cooling options. (oscilation, timer, remote control etc.) So still very useful as a fan nonetheless..and I would still give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. Awesome.

Let me start off by saying that I am a big fan of dreo products. Until now I've only owned their cooling fans which work amazingly. So when I was offered this heater I jumped at the chance. If it turned out to be even half as good as their fans that would definitely be pretty good. Let me just say that this heater does not disappoint in any way. It's fantastic. The fan is small yet powerful. You already know from the description that it has a number of settings, low to high. You can also set your desired room temperature and it aims for that. This thing really puts out strong heat. We were on a screened porch last night when the temps had dipped into the low 60s and everyone was comfortable. I don't like much heat so I stayed the farthest away from it and got just enough heat to take the chill off. And did I mention how quiet it is. Not silent (but that's a good thing because you D0 want to know it's running) but not an intrusive amount of noise in any way What's intriguing to me about this thing is both the vertical and horizontal oscillation. It worked like a charm. It looked so funny rotating on its base. The remote functions well with the ability to operate all the heater's functions. One caveat... I'm going to assume that Dreo has only one remote for many of its products because this turned on our nearby dreo fan when it turned on the heater. Not a big deal by any means but it helps to be aware of if you have more than one dreo device in close proximity. If I had one wish it would be that this heater was "smart" like the cooling fan. I like to be able to check remotely whether we remembered to turn things like fans and heaters off. Call me lazy. IMPORTANT.... Like all space heaters this should be plugged into its own dedicated outlet. I think many people don't realize this. It's so important to respect these things. Never plug any space heater into a multi outlet or multi plug extension cord. Just don't. BOTTOM LINE: I love dreo products and this heater is no exception. It heats up very very quickly and maintains the level it's set at. It's quiet and efficient. I haven't tried it in an enormous room and I don't think it would fill a huge room with heat. I also don't think it was designed or marketed for large spaces.
