I bought this little gem in September and installed it in Oct in my bathroom, just in time for the cold weather!! This is without a doubt one of the best designed futuristic heaters I have ever had! I have had plenty of all kinds. This one stands out! I love the device updates through the router!!!! Reminds me of updating my bios on my pc!!! I just love the scheduling, where I can control the heater to come on and off at certain times. This should save on heating bills. I just love the economy, where it takes advantage of the 900, 1000 and 1500 watt and is very quiet. So efficient. It runs rings around my old baseboard heater that clunked out. I read where the fan can be used by itself, so I expect maybe that will be used in summer. I will see what I can explore then. No floor fans to circulate the air. Its a 2fer! As a matter of fact, I loved this heater so much I ordered another one for my living room. Hopefully it will run just as good. The heat is very good!!! If you use apps, this is perfect for you and there is a remote control for those that do not use their phone apps. We need another star for futuristic engineering built for the consumer!! I would give it an extra star rating.

Bought this heater literally about 13-14 months ago and it was working well until last night the unit turned itself off and would not turn on. Pressed the test/reset buttons on the plug, the fuse for my apartment is fine - other appliances tied to that fuse are working, and tried unplugging for +15min to power cycle. Still won't turn on. I am quite frankly pretty peeved that a month or two out of warranty the heater dies out. It was my first and probably last Dreo product if I cannot get a replacement. Other brands I've own had longevity and even a no-name heater I bought around the same time last year for a different room is still working fine. Would avoid. ----‐----------- EDIT: I reached out to Dreo Support directly via email, and they were willing to replace the unit - no hassle, which I really appreciate. Even being two months out of warranty they covered it. This is the kind of customer service you want and I am absolutely increasing my review rating. The unit itself worked great when it was functioning, looks great, and simply does what you need it to do. Very simple, compact package, and can really crank out the heat when set to H3. I still have yet to hook up the replacement but I think most customers will be quite pleased with the unit.

I bought this to heat up a large master bedroom with vaulted ceilings that get cold during the winter months. Very hard to keep the temp up with my home system. I have other deep space heaters so I thought I’d give it a shot. And wow… not only does it keep the room warm, it also warms up the master bath (which is a bonus) and everything is much more comfortable. I was actually hot the other night which never happens during this time of year. And my wife is much more comfortable as well (she runs cold). It has 1 big flaw which may or may not be a deal breaker for you… Pros - Very light weight and easy to install - App is awesome with scheduling and integrating to Siri, Google and Alexa - Very powerful but quiet. Has 3 heating modes but haven’t had to go above medium. Cons - The thermostat is wonky which means in eco mode, it can keep switching on/off make the annoying clicking noises from switching between heat settings. I’m not sure if it’s hardware or software but this is very very annoying when you’re trying to get some sleep and cannot be good for the unit to keep switching modes so quickly. I’ve seen others mention the same thing so I know it just isn’t my unit. This con was almost a deal breaker for me but since it heats up my space so well, I’ve created a work around where I don’t use eco mode and just created a schedule to keep the temp stabilized in the room. So far so good but this would definitely prevent a lot of people from keeping the unit. I’ll see how it holds up over the winter but definitely does the job for now.

I love this product!! This heater heats my studio all over. You can set the timer, control it away from home. If you’re out and it’s cold outside, you can warm the room before you arrive. Amazing!! Lightweight, easy to install (20 mins). Great price!! It’s quiet, cools itself down when needed. It blows out with a nice amount of power. The door where the air comes out, it closes during the 30 second countdown of the heater being turned off. Looks very nice with my decor. No complaints so far.

First, installation was easy. The template they provide has a built-in level although I double checked with my own level and amazingly the template level was accurate. Anyone can install this. Just need a drill, drill bit for starting a hole for the wall anchors and small hammer to tap them in... that's it. Leave the top screws out slightly as these slide into the support slots. Then you just slide the lower support clips on the bottom of the unit and secure with two more screws and plug it in. Honestly, probably takes longer to download, install and configure the app LoL which is also simple. Of course you need to set-up an account but no different than any other devices you want to control. The panel on front is easy to operate as is the little remote that has the exact same button controls. It does support Alexa and Google assistant but I probably don't need that anyway although it's there for those who feel the need to control using voice which might be helpful for some people. Just being able to schedule it to come on or power it up from the phone ahead of time is useful just to heat our room beforehand. Packing was superb, unit was secured and packed nicely and instructions were crystal clear.....it was probably a 10 minute job getting the unit mounted on my wall and another 15 minutes to set-up the app, account and configure my preferences. Highly recommend for small rooms that just need a boost in heat without breaking the bank or incurring ridiculous electrical costs. Totally worth it....

Update... 11.26.24. I have been working with Carol from the company for over a week. Let me say they Beth lady that called me had no idea what was going on and not even ready for the call. I followed up with an email directly yo Carol and she was on it all. She has all the notes on these models and the geo-thermometers ( brand) I am using. They want to make this right. They have numerous videos now of how the internal thermometer really needs fixed. Even noting to turn the unit off, resetting the ambience to the "0" change or center. As soon as this is done and the unit is off for an hour it matches the geo-thermometer?? However, once the unit is back on it can change from perfect to 10° off. Huge issue. Especially in the cold. With that I was offered a full refund for all 3 and asked to return only 1. Which i am happy to do. This again has the potential of an amazing product if they can figure out the internal issue when on. Their Customer care is for sure 5 stars. The product. 3.5 stars. I hope I am asked to help review further, as I would be more then happy to see this product at 5 stars with the fixes on the internal side. Initial review - 11.21.24 - purchased 3 of these after reading reviews, looking up the company and taking almost 3 months to add to my collection. 135 year old home. Midwest and H-Vac is horrible. Backstory as to why I chose DREO... *** I purchased 2 - GoVee smart heaters last year and was looking to add 2 more as they work great. For some reason they just stopped making them. Uggh. Last year we had 2 of them. On the coldest weeks, yes we'll in the negatives... 2K sqft home. I closed off 3 rooms and kept my house no joke easily at 68°. And still was energy efficient. I had 1 additional heater just store bought to help. *** FORWARD TO NOW.. Very high hopes for these as they are Wall mounted and so forth, GREAT reviews... so far and the cost a little more. However based on what they said they do and reviews.. let's try it. Plus wall mounted. Nice. I bought all 3, same day, delivered on Oct 17 2024. Literally just hooked them up in different main rooms of my home 1.5 weeks ago. It's now Nov 21st, 2024. ( give you a time frame) Major issues and yes I have reached out to the company and we are " talking," through email. ** The Ambient temps are a joke. There is a 5° range on them.and they do NOT do a connect with geo thermometers. No room in any house is going to be the same or kept the same. Example... my kitchen and yes I sent them pics.. is this morning 64° Ambient to kick on at 68° as this is the temp I like my home. Nope. The heater says 72. YES, The thermometers is right below it. Funny this same geo-thermometer is connected to my sons room. His Govee heater has kicked on as he likes it set to 66° and within minutes it works and warms his room. Weird... would be nice if these allowed connection to thermometers instead of relying on the units. As NO JOKE. Not one of them is accurate. Not one. And 1 even off by 10°, but you only have a 5° range to fix it. ( yes I again had pictures and the first response back from the company.. is the thermo.eter close to the unit... yes about 2ft away from it on the table?) Pics provided. ** Wifi connect.. well when it wants to stay connected. I noticed if the heaters do not turn on because the house stays above the requested Ambient for 24 hours you have to reconnect them. I did figure out a trick. If you have smart connect and just say...Alexa what's the temp on " so and so," heater... that keeps it from disconnecting. Do this at least every 24 hours. Figured that out about 3 days ago. Why??? You should not have to do this. Again only device in the house not staying connected. I have amazing Internet and about 22 things hooked up even my security system... no issues.. but DREO?? I am not going to lie. I am just out of the 30 day window by 2 days. According to delivery. The cost of 3 of these were crazy. They boast how well they work and so and so. I have to say first hand review of 3 bought at the same time... This could be a great device. Looks to be a newer company and has a lot of issues to adjust. I am in high hopes if reaching someone specially today by voice. Yes I have responded and again asked for a call. If I only bought 1, I would say it might be the unit. But I bought 3 AND ALL are doing it?? I am now looking to by the GoVee heaters from another sight and fight for a return of money and equipment if thsi can not get fixed!! As I know this company well. I have numerous products and never and issue in over 5 years. I have a lot of their products. Again. No issues. I lie. I bought a tower fan last summer. Used it for 6 months and then it stopped. Contacted CS with video and oic. And literally had a replacement in 1 week they didn't even want the other one back. Now that is CS. I have again high hopes that this DREO... will do the same. Let's see if I can update this review with better help for others.
