I got this because i'm always trying to dig out hair from our tub drain, with 2 girls with long hair in our household. Despite attempting to keep as much out as possible, always some ends up getting in and eventually buildup happens and forms a clog that slows down the drain, This tool really helps grab the hair or whatever is in the drain, and then you pull it out without having to stick your fingers down the drain. Push down the button at the top, and it extends little claws/grabbers. Release the button and the claws retract and grab whatever they are near, then pull the whole thing out and see what prize you got for all your efforts. It's easy to use, though if you have hand strength issues then this might not be the right tool for you because it did require a lot of force to push the button.

This product is absolutely essential for families. I believe that almost all families have experienced sewer or bathtub clogging.
