I’ve been using the Dowinx chair daily for both gaming and work, and I’m genuinely impressed with how comfortable and well-built it is. The first thing that stands out is the suede-like material. I’m 6’2” and 220 lbs, and this chair is AMAZING. The suede-like fabric feels great, the foam is actually comfortable for long sessions, and the vibrating lumbar massage feature is a surprisingly nice bonus. I can sit in this chair for hours while gaming or working without constantly thinking about how uncomfortable I am or needing to get up because the chair sucks. Assembly was also surprisingly easy. The instructions were straightforward, all the hardware was organized well, and I had it together pretty quickly without any headaches. The reclining feature is excellent too — it goes back far enough that you can almost lay flat. The chair itself feels very solid and stable, and it’s definitely on the heavier-duty side. Even on carpet, the wheels roll way smoother than I expected. The only real downside is the leg extension. In theory it’s a cool feature, but in practice it sags quite a bit when fully extended with your legs on it, to the point that it becomes pretty uncomfortable. Personally, I don’t really need it anyway, but if the footrest is a make-or-break feature for you, it’s something to consider. Also, Amazon says I have to mention the color, so yes — it’s gray. A very nice gray. Possibly the greatest gray you’ll ever gaze upon.

I've owned this chair for a few months now and use it as my main computer gaming chair. I am 6'. Like other chairs in its class, the Dowinx comes with an separate, detachable head rest and back rest cushions, also in suede. The chair mechanism is dependable and very stable in terms of both height and backrest adjustments. The base is sturdy, and does not easily lose pressure/sink as you sit, as some chairs in its class tend to do. The cushions are of premium quality, are very comfortable, and do not loose form/leave body prints and contours over time as some memory foam cushions tend to. The controls are easy and as you would expect, one lever for height and another for the angle of the backrest. The white suede was a daunting selection to make, knowing that keeping it clean would be necessary and take at least some effort. The fabric does tend to pick up blue from denim jeans and will absolutely show everything that is spilled on it - I would suggest a spray-on fabric protectant for suede, or purchasing a separate chair cover you can launder when necessary. The chair comes with an extendible footrest that is made of the same cusion material/suede. It is very comfortable to use (using it as I type this). However, for my height I would appreciate a few inches more extension for the foot/leg rest as my feet and ankles overhang the fully extended rest by a few inches which can lead to discomfort after 20 minutes or so. I still value it for the variety of positions available - This chair does a wonderful job holding off fatigue with all the adjust-ability, and the foot/leg rest gives me another option, but it wears out its welcome after those first 20 mins.

Context: I have a mechanical engineering background but new to gaming world. I’m roughly 6’1” and 260lb. I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of the parts. The parts appear to be in perfect condition, which seems to be more and more uncommon in the massive Amazon world. The chair uses plastic legs, casters, and arm rests but that does not mean they are weak. They are solid. Assembly was a breeze. The instructions were very well written, much better than most I’ve encountered. You can tell the author understands the assembly process. Being a big body, the chair is solid. I had low expectations with durability considering the price point. But I was wrong. The chair is very well built and I have zero concerns about the chair hold up with my size over time. I have not spent hours upon hours in this chair yet but the moments I’ve been in the chair, it is very comfortable. Easily adjustable to the desired position. The vibrating lumbar pillow in a cherry on top. I would highly recommend this chair to anyone but especially to the bigger people looking for a chair. Regarding a different product I purchased from Dowinx, I had an issue and their customer service was responsive and helpful. I purchased this chair as part of a product testing offer. Despite this, these are my honest opinions.

I had recently gotten a new chair for my home workspace, and had gotten a lot of positive feedback from it from my family, so I thought it would be nice to pick up one for them as well. I wanted something versatile and comfortable to replace the wooden one they were using. I really appreciate the balance between quality and price that this chair has to offer. The suede has a nice texture and is quite comfortable, just be wary of how quickly it will attract dust and hair. Found that out for myself when putting this together, but it is nothing a good vacuuming can't fix. The assembly was pretty easy for the most part. The instructions are pretty straight forward and the parts are easy enough to figure out. I will say the only trouble I had was that one arm of the chair needed to be aligned "just" right for the bolt to twist in properly. You will want to make sure you are aligning it as straight as possible, and slide the mounts in evenly to not run into the same problem. This chair is really cozy, comfortably fitting those with a larger frame. I'm fairly tall and it seats me well, so I know it is gonna be a perfect fit. The recline on these things are pretty terrifying. While I could basically use it as a bed, I've still got PTSD from lesser chairs wanting to lose their balance. Still, being able to sit back when you need to is an absolute plus. I already have the chair set up in my parent's office for when they get back from their trip, and I can't wait to surprise them with this!

Unfortunately underwhelming. It seems the angle of this is too steep unless you incline it to practically lying down and then at that point you cant do any desk work. The Lumbar support feels much too large although it may be better once it has been used after some time and gets more flat. It's got some wobble in the arms and when I adjust myself (which has to be done constantly). The Suede material is one of the only things going for this. Anything is better than any form of leather, fake or real. Like all leg rests in chairs I've used, they are not long enough and I'm only 5 foot 8. The only way I can see this chair being comfortable is if you weigh very little like a child (I'm ~200lbs) and/or you have factory ideal body proportions. I'm so sad about this as well. I don't see many chairs in a material like this and the white was going to match the rest of my setup. It still will, but I will be no more comfortable than before. **Update: The more I use it the more pain I am in. I have had to get a separate foot rest and lumbar support to add to this chair to make it bearable and it truly cannot be saved. Like I said I am not even that big or large so I cannot imagine how someone that considers themselves big and large would fare in this chair. Pretty much every aspect of this chair causes pain for me and it feels so loose that it won't last very long either. I double checked I had everything tightened. Absolutely frustrating and disappointing.
