This doorbell is easy to install and reaches at least the 200' range I need. The transmitter cover is very difficult to open, even with the tiny screwdriver included in the package. [The cover needs to be removed only when replacing the #23A 12V battery (included)]. Amazon lists this as a wireless, waterproof doorbell. However, only the transmitter is wireless and waterproof; the doorbell itself is neither wireless nor labeled waterproof. Each receiver must be plugged into a normal 120VAC outlet, so technically this system is not totally wireless. I bought two 3-packs, each with one transmitter, which makes a very inexpensive buy and covers a lot of area. Later I bought a third 3-pack to see if it would reach the barn and chicken coop, and no problem. Highly recommended, but manufacturer needs to improve transmitter accessibility and doorbell description.

Each of the receivers (ringers) have a 3 position volume level, and it lights up while ringing. The doorbell button comes with an adhesive pad which sticks firmly on a doorframe, door or wall. There are many ringer sounds that you can select from. Works well!
