Heater is simple, convenient, powerful and fast. Honestly love it, I’ve had multiple of them. They have a common design flaw though as you can see on other people’s reviews as well, and it can be hazardous. The anti-tip switch seems to have something about its design that builds up a LOT of heat and melts out the housing all around it. Updated after owning two for another few months: even wiring around this flaw wouldn’t help, on further investigation and use, all of the wiring used inside these heaters are sized poorly. Feed wire gauge smaller than jumper wire gauge, no consistency, and they just occasionally melt connections so my guess is maybe inferior copper wire? No idea. You get what you pay for, heats very well but poor construction and can be hazardous just don’t leave it on when you aren’t around. ... show more

Works well for heating objects but not for heating the air in the room. It's an infrared heater. The pull string broke off after a couple of years of use. Still a good value if they last two years but don't expect a lot of durability.
