Works well .. my daughter likes using it to learn how to play. We have two donner ukeleles and I have noticed that this one does need more tuning than the other one. Also, the other one came with a much nicer thickly padded case - this one came with just a foldable case - more like a cover, not really to protect it. Also, my daughter likes to use a pick when playing and I have noticed some of the paint wearing off already where she has hit it with a pick - yes, might need to work on her pick skills so she doesn't hit it when playing but wish the paint held up a little better as we have only had it a few months. ... show more

Tuners say individual strings are in tune but when checking compared to other strings it is not. For example I tune the G string 4 to G according to the Tuner but when I hold the C string 3 at the 7th fret (which is G) it is too high no matter which finger I use. It is more pronounced when using a pick. Strumming both at the same time gives the warbling out of tune sound. The rest of the strings have similar issues. I discovered this issue today when trying to practice a simple song on it and getting crappy sound on the chords. I have been using a competitor’s ukulele to practice that song and the chords sounded clean. I finally tried the same song on this ukulele and was not pleased. I would strongly recommend playing this one when you get it to check out the tune and playability of this ukulele before your return window closes. I got mine on sale but that is no excuse for this. ... show more

Bought this for my daughter who is a beginner. It is beautiful and seems well made, and she loves the green color. However, it did not have the right strings on it. My other daughter plays guitar, and she was able to restring it. I did not reach out to the seller.

Good quality and sound. Frets need filing at their end, a bit sharp. I like the tuner. Case is nice. This is a good deal.

I got the pink one for $38. It has super low action which is perfect for a beginner. For this price it probably peaks. It does got some buzzing issue but come on, it's 38 bucks.

Too good to be true. At this price point, I figured "what the heck." "The Heck" is what I got. It looks nice, has lots of accessories. But the dang uke buzzes no matter how much I tune it. Maybe it's a rookie mistake of not knowing how to fix a uke, but it was sure a disappointment that I couldn't get it to stop buzzing every time I strummed. ... show more
