We have a six year old who wants to learn guitar but his hands aren’t big enough yet. He’s having a blast with this ukulele and learning so much! It keeps a tune well and is versatile and sturdy. All good qualities for a young player!

    • Very nice ukulele
This is a very nice ukulele and a true lefty, not one where just the strings have been reversed. The fret marker dots are on the correct side of the uke for a lefty. It is lightweight, has a decent sound, and the body and neck are slightly wider than most concert size ukuleles which makes it more comfortable to play for those with larger hands. The neck is nice and smooth and there were no sharp fret ends. The ukulele fits beautifully into the case and the strap, although narrow and light supports the uke nicely, since the uke itself is lightweight. The one I received though did have one issue, and that is the strap pin that is on the neck was not in a good position. When the strap was put on, the end of the strap extended over the fretboard and did not allow complete access to the strings past the 12th fret. The strap that comes with the package does have a string, so one end can be tied to the headstock instead of using the strap pin, but doing that causes shoulder pain for me, so I needed to return the ukulele. ... show more

This is a really nice ukulele. It looks good and has a nice crisp sound. The GIGBAG - well I threw it in the trash and orders one from eBay. They got stingy with the zipper. Five cents more of zipper would have been nice. It only opens up part way. This leaves room for the ukulele to get scuffs and scratches. Only stingy people would do that.🐣 ... show more

Nice little left-handed ukulele! Came with everything I needed to get started, the tuner even came with a battery. This is my second Donner purchase and I am pleased with each one. I uploaded a little video of you want to check it out.

    • NOT for left handed. Strings won’t hold tension.
This ukulele was not designed to be for left handed folks. The studs that hold the strap in are placed on the body of the ukulele for right handed players. The string tension does not hold and will be out of tune in a matter of seconds after tuning. I am so disappointed. Please do not spend your money on this. ... show more
