I thought this thing was going to suck, it felt light and cheap when I took it out of the box. I'm like 3 weeks of heavy use in now and I have to say this thing is a hidden gem for the price. Built very bad. Almost feels hollow. The power plugs on these are very junky. They are worse then cell phones im the 90s. Very breakable. We purchased 4 of these pyle radios for my work and all of them broke within 3 months basically at the power cord port. The sounds quality is alright kind of flat. I bought 2 of these to pair for (((STEREO))) music and the effect is excellent! They're not quite as loud as I hoped (in my backyard), but they are loud enough that if my neighbors played them after dark at near full volume without prior notice, I would address them about it. The bass is acceptable, but not bone penetrating. They're probably all that I need because I'm older (approaching 70) and I'll be listening to a lot of jazz and music from the '60s up to some present day, and I'll probably only be entertaining a more mature gathering, but younger people partying outdoors will require a lot more volume. Oh, and to let you know where my head is at, I turn those annoying disco party lights OFF. ... show more

I don’t know what I was expecting for $75 but I think I got what I paid for. Only used it for a couple of hours at this time. Not exactly that punch I was looking for but I like the fact that it connects quick and easy, the portability is great and much lighter than expected. I can’t fairly comment on battery life at this time but so far so good, if it sucks I will update this review. I have a 24’X24’ outdoor building that I have been using it in and it sounds ok, would be hard to talk over. My wife says she can hear it in the house but neighbors haven’t complained yet. Looking forward to using at camp to see how well the battery holds and if I will be satisfied with the sound in the middle of nowhere. ... show more

While it is loud, the bass is not deep and rich. Ok, fine. But to have only five equalizer settings is a problem. On top of that, it does not respond to any equalizer settings that you have on your phone is a deal breaker. If I had known about these issues, I would have never purchased it.

Ordered this to replace a dying JBL clip 3 and realistically that shouldn't have been hard with the power output advertised on this speaker. The first thing I noticed is how cheap it feels and no joke my tiny JBL clip 3 was heavier than this speaker. It was easy to hook up to Bluetooth and the functions all seemed to work. LEDs just strobe or are off with no intermediate options. I am a bit of a sound quality snob and this speaker failed so bad I'm sending it back and trying something else. There is no way this is pushing that amount of power, ever. My little JBL clip 3 had better sound and was just as loud. Overall disappointed but probably would be good for a cheap need in emergency speaker kind of way. Just not going to work for me. ... show more
