  • It’ll take more than one pack
Size: 50 pack-1" x 12" x 12"
Like them so far but they do not go as far as I hoped. We already had to buy a second 50 pack.

  • You don’t have to soak them, you can let them decompress for 24 hours. Very hard to dry.
Size: 2" x 12" x 12"
They really do help reduce the amount of sound that comes in or goes out. Just make sure you fluff them up before hand. Either let them decompress for 24 hours or use the water method but they are hella hard to dry all the way. And research on where to place the panels to achieve your desired effects. Can’t just place them anywhere and expect it to magically work lol. ... show more

  • Quick fix that helps.
Size: 2" x 12" x 12"
I've used similar products in the past and these seem to hold the same values. They did take about 48 hours to fully puff up after the new package was opened. After given the appropriate time, they seem to be exactly the same as others I've had shipped in larger boxes. The overall sound quality isn't going to be as good as Roxul Safe and Sound, but it is definitely better than a blanket on the wall or nothing at all. ... show more

  • Effective.
I live in a townhouse and enjoy listening to music and pc gaming at slightly loud volumes, which can bother the neighbors. These are obviously not going to eliminate the volume entirely, but my neighbors have noticed a difference and appreciate it. Only possible complaint is the difficulty keeping them glued to the wall. This may be due to the adhesive I used, however; as I was concerned with making a truly permanent modification to a rental property. ... show more

  • Acoustic foam tiles aren't nearly as expensive as they used to be
Size: 2" x 12" x 12"
These are treated foam tiles on Amazon and not high-density glass-fiber panels you find on professional music websites...of course they are priced accordingly as well. It's important to keep both in mind when purchasing these. It's a good price for when all you want is coverage and you're not trying to achieve state-of-the-art results. These are the 2 inch depth panels and you *really* don't want to cheap out with the 1-inch variety found elsewhere. They're good at reducing reflectivity and in that respect they're a great deal, but if you've already invested $20,000 in your studio and you're still shopping for acoustical solutions I would be surprised if you're even here reading this. Use-cases: - If you're one of the many office workers who now work from home and you get a lot of slapback (from your audio, not your manager) during Zoom/Teams meetings but don't want to wear headphones all the time - Echo/reverb control for vocal tracking, guitar, keys - Podcasts/control room It's important to keep in mind that these will only control sound reflection; they don't function as a vibration damper. As such, don't expect to filter out a lot of bass, and don't expect to put them up to keep loud neighbors at bay. ... show more

  • AMAZING! Negative reviews are because of USER ERROR!
Size: 2" x 12" x 12"
I was very scared to order these because of the reviews saying they do not inflate properly and people being upset that they arrived vacuum sealed. I didn't take them to heart because I also saw positive reviews! I took the leap of faith and ordered them because I didn't want to cheap out on 1 inch foam and I'm so happy I did I think the negative reviews are the product of USER ERROR! To get these to take their foam you MUST soak them (even if its for a little while) and ring them out! As I was soaking and ringing them out they quickly began expanding! let it be known they do ,when wet, have a faint unpleasant fishy odor but after drying the odor is completely gone. I was going to let them air dry but I opted to put them on LOW HEAT in my dryer machine for 40 mins! After I took them out I placed them puzzled into each other into a tower (as shown in photo) and viola! Perfect foam pads! if you're having trouble with some of the foam being "deformed" you can EASILY massage them out and they will be perfect! These might be the best budget option for acoustic foam! I will be posting a tutorial video and reviewing them including my method of installation on my tiktok and YouTube channel "KimDaVillain" ... show more

  • Amazing!
Size: 2" x 12" x 12"
These things are amazing! My husband streams on Twitch, so we bought these to help with echo from our bare walls. When we first got them they needed to puff up a bit from being shipped vacuumed-sealed, so we kept them in the garage. We puffed them up for about a week or two, mostly out of laziness, but they smelled like cigarette smoke because that's where my husband smokes when it's cold out. We decided to wash them (hot water regular cycle and high heat drying) and they came out perfect! No smoke smell, no weird shaping, nothing! When it came to putting them on the wall, the tape it comes with is useless. Absolutely useless. We bought cardboard poster board, cut it to the shape we wanted, gorilla hot glued the foam onto the cardboard, then used those velcro-like Command strips on the back of the cardboard to stick them to the wall. We stuck one on the wall in front of and behind him for the echo. They've been up for almost a year now and no problems at all! The foam pieces have stuck to the cardboard nicely, and the cardboard hasn't moved a bit from the Command strips. They've also helped significantly with echo while he's streaming! ... show more
