The media could not be loaded. This fountain had not worked for over 30 years. The former pump after cleaning it up worked for approximately 48 hours. Which was good considering it was 50 years old. I had to re pipe the fountain and swap to this submersible pump to get it going again. Any pump bigger than this one would not work. My wife is really enjoying the ambiance it adds to our front porch.

I purchased this pump to replace a 10W 120gph rated pump in my 32" tall fountain. The old pump worked OK but was a little anemic. Water just trickled out of the top. I figured this one with an additional 5W of power would be just right. In reality, even with the adjustment turned near all the way down, it's about 2-3X as powerful. The fountain now spews and splash's water twice as fast and some of it goes on the ground. ( Requiring me to refill it every day) My only other minor gripe is that the, thin wired, two prong power cord is cheesy and better suited for an indoor appliance. it has gotten wet and blown the GFI power outlet twice in the last two weeks.

I use this to pump water through a wort cooler for home brewing. It works well. I like the two barbs that come with the pump so I can fit it to my hoses. Power is good, it keeps a steady flow during the cooling period. I wouldn’t say it’s noisy, but you can hear a hum when it’s running. I like it for what i use it for.

Got this installed in a simple fountain. It lasted less than 2 weeks. Took it apart to see if it was clogged or something. The impeller won't come out as it gets stuck in the body. No sound coming from it when plugged in. Looks like it burned up or something. Impeller is very hard to turn with needle nose pliers. It NEVER ran out of water yet seems to have burned up. I've had pumps last for years in this fountain. Just clean them and they work. NOT this one. I would NOT recommend that anyone buy this pump unless you want to buy a few for when it burns up.

I use this in a small fountain and right out of the box it was flowing nicely and quiet. After about a month it would randomly reduce the flow even though nothing looked to be clogging it. It occasionally makes a vibrating/grinding noise which seems to be fixed by a period of unplugging it. It also does not have an auto shutoff to prevent burnout if you run out of water. For the price it is fine but I’d rather pay more for less time babysitting the pump.
