I got these for swimming and they are great for that also. I did size down from a small to an extra small for that purpose. It’s not as low rise as a traditional swim boy shorts that like I would like it to be but the fit is very flattering, and the material is thick.

For reference I am 5'4" (163 cm) and approximately 116 lbs (53 kg). For me, size small was JUST perfect. I also tried similar shorts titled "BUBBLELIME XS-XXL Sexy Booty Yoga Shorts Running Shorts Women Workout Fitness Active Wicking UPF30+ Yoga Tummy Control" in size small but found them really loose on the waist.
