My previous ac cover I had to remove four screws to clean the filter which was annoying. This one the filter housing slides out and if I want I can dump cold air right out of the cover instead of sending it to the ducts. The only thing is that it's louder now than before

Would have loved to have just bought the plastic cover and not the other metal pieces. I needed to replace a dry rotted plastic cover not the whole housing. Used the plastic cover for grate was able to use existing holes and hardware.
