    • works great I added this to my ducted AC system on our 5th Wheel camper
This comes with the metal insert for those adding a whole new AC. I just used the plastic bottom part with the screws provided. I didn't use any of the metal housing didn't need it since the AC is already in place. We have a fully ducted Dometic AC and I wanted to fix or atleast improve the return and be able to dump the cool air in the room or shut it and just run it thru the ducts. Easy to install. Just open the top part of the AC and remove the cover so you can get at the return and cooling portion on the roof side. I would recommend using a drill to drill a hole from the top down so you can reference from below. Then cut out the size needed that is same as the this plastic grill. May need foil tape to close any gaps in the roofing area. then just fasten this grill up in place. I installed it a couple weeks ago and its made a noticeable difference. ... show more

    • Can be made to fit Coleman Mach Series
I screwed up. I bought this thinking it would work. Well, it does with a tiny bit of mod. We had to use a couple of mounting holes (pre drilled in the frame) and it bolted right up to where my Coleman air intake used to be. Whats really sad is I didn't realize it wouldn't work until after. A couple of the holes didn't line up right, but it still works. The internal directional fit nicely as well. Sometimes it rattles a bit (the plastic air vents) but I think that's normal. This is a nice vent. It allows you to cool the main room then divert the air back to the other areas. Five stars.     • Not just a plastic cover
The 20 below zero weather this winter was hard on the plastic ceiling cover of our campers' dometic AC unit. The cover cracked, dropping the filter and filter cover to the floor. After measuring and a search here on Amazon, found and ordered this unit. The unit arrived and found it to include the in-ceiling plenum also. Was fairly heavy also. Only needed the cover so that is what I used. Be aware, as I do not know if just the cover exists on Amazon but would likely be in your RV centers parts Inventory. The cover did fit perfectly and the white color was much better than the eggshell color of the original as it matches the lights and vent cover much better. ... show more

My previous ac cover I had to remove four screws to clean the filter which was annoying. This one the filter housing slides out and if I want I can dump cold air right out of the cover instead of sending it to the ducts. The only thing is that it's louder now than before
