    • Good value
Color: White Size: 13,500 BTU
4/2/26 Dometic Freshjet 3 series arrived undamaged and with the foam roof seal attached however please note . No new electrical control box is included and no inside trim/inside roof panel was included but I was able to reuse mine. Might not be the case with everyone. I replaced an older 2013 dometic unit with this one. Install was super easy and quick. If you can lift 70lbs over your head to put it on the camper roof. you can install it yourself like I did.(Tip) I Backed my truck up next to the camper and stood in the bed of the truck to put the new unit on the roof. Took less than 1hr 30min to swap it out. It brought the camper from 80F to 64 in less then 30 to 45min. Much quieter the the older unit for sure. As for Energy Efficiency I’m off grid and run everything off solar and battery’s. The unit pulled right at around 2000 watt's at startup then settled in at 1.6 to 1.7 watt’s continuously until the compressor shutoff. Then the fan continued to pull around 450watts. Performance was good all day and Airflow was decent ... show more

    • Failed in 11 days—Avoid this seller!
Color: White Size: 13,500 BTU
I purchased this Dometic FreshJet 3 Series unit, and it failed within just 11 days of installation. The compressor runs, but the coils do not get cool, making it useless in the summer heat. Since this is a full time residence, this is a major health and safety issue. The real nightmare, however, is the "customer service" from Global Climate Alliance. Despite the unit failing within the 30-day window, they are refusing to provide a straightforward, full refund. Instead, they are trying to force me to use the manufacturer's warranty and remove the unit and take it to a certified service center. When I insisted on a return so I could purchase a working unit locally, they warned me that they would likely deduct shipping costs, restocking fees, and "defect fees" from my refund because the unit is no longer in "new condition". It is a defective unit! Expecting a customer to pay restocking fees on a product that stopped working in less than two weeks is absurd. They also claimed that returning the unit via freight poses a "risk of damage" that would further reduce my refund. This feels like a tactic to trap customers into keeping faulty products. Save yourself the headache and the money—do not buy from this seller. They do not stand behind the products they sell. ... show more

    • Dometic FreshJet 3 Series, unidad de aire ac
Color: White Size: 13,500 BTU
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5-Star Review (ENGLISH) Title: Excellent Cooling Performance and Quiet Operation! We installed the Dometic FreshJet 3 Series 13.5K BTU unit on our RV, and it has made a huge difference. The cooling power is impressive — it quickly cools down the space even on hot summer days. It runs much quieter than our old unit, which is a big plus when you're trying to relax or sleep. Installation was straightforward with clear instructions. The sleek, low-profile design also looks great on the roof. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade their RV’s A/C system! ... show more

    • Lousy air conditioner!! Worked only 2 months
Color: White Size: 13,500 BTU
Review Image by Teresa Woolam
I give this air conditioner and seller a negative review. The air conditioner worked only 2 months before the wire to the compressor burnt up because of overheating! Very poor design. Still waiting to either get a new replacement or our money back and so far we have neither! So frustrating!! Amazon needs to remove this seller from selling & Amazon is not helping us get a replacement or refund either. Says it doesn’t come under the A-Z guarantee refund? ... show more

Unit works great. Only one complaint is that the site listed for registration does not work. I cannot find a way to do that.

    • Good price and very quiet but packaging could use work
Color: White Size: 13,500 BTU
I purchase this a/c to replace a domestic briskairII. The new unit was totally plug and play and inly took about 45 minutes to swap them out (with experienced help). This is a VERY quiet air conditioner. Reason for the 4 stars is due to the lack of protection in the box. There was some damage to the plastic casing but nothing major to prevent use. I contacted Amazon product support and within 10 minutes they granted me a reasonable partial refund of $137 and I don’t have to send a 70lb package back. Slight damage is worth the $250 less than any other sites online ... show more

    • It is indeed quieter than the factory unit.
Color: White Size: 13,500 BTU
The factory unit was so loud that I had to put it on low to have a conversation or off if I wanted to listen to music or the TV. Not so with the FreshJet 3. It’s not whisper quiet but no longer have to turn it off to listen to music or watch TV. And I can have a conversation even when it is on High. Unfortunately I had to buy the matching cover even though I was told I could use my existing. Grr. That was another $200. But the cover was easy to install and works fine. Over all I’m Very Pleased with the new a/c equipment. ... show more

    • Steer Clear of this Seller and Item!
Color: Black Size: 13,500 BTU
If I could give it negative stars, I would! We received a defective unit. The seller will not stand behind the product they sell! Technical support is almost non-existence, as we would have to pay essentially 50% of the cost of the unit for 2 trips from a "certified Dometic AC Technician". The company underpays for warranty work and we would have to pay a $90.00 fuel charge for each trip plus what Dometic underpays their fee. We are stuck with of the dilemma, write of the cost of the AC unit, or fight it. Wish me luck! ... show more
