So the thing I love is I can control turning it on and off from the app, and being able to see what temp it is out there, without having to go out there. But like many, I have issues with the app. I have an apple, so I can at least connect, but the schedule doesn’t work. So it will bot turn on and off automatically. I also have not seen it turn off once it gots the desired temp. BUT even with that for the price I don’t regret the purchase. I knew based on other reviews that the wifi aspect was iffy. But for the cost, I am happy. It also says I have a weak signal. My house is under 900, and the heater is directly next to my bedroom wall on the outside. So if you ate going to have it further from your house, it prolly won’t connect to wifi at all.

The heater itself works as advertised. The front metal piece does get hot, but it's not a deal breaker. I also decided not to put it in the dog house as it's a tad larger than I thought it would be. That's good if you're heating a larger dog house, but I have a little one for a smaller pup. What was a deal breaker for me was that the app and wifi control is unusable. This was the sole purpose of choosing this specific heater. When I scan the QR it says the app isn't available on the newer version of Android. For reference, I have the new Samsung Fold.

I really love the Dog House Heater with Thermostat. The original heater that came with the dog house didn't shut off automatically. This heater with the thermostat shuts off automatically when it gets to the desired temperature and turns back on when needed. I love it! I would buy it again.

This little heater puts out a lot more heat than you’d think. We have an outside farm dog. We put this in his dog house which isn’t huge…so I was little worried the heater would take up too much room. It’s a lot bigger than I was expecting. It’s probably 10” tall and 6” deep. Also the installation was a little tough. It might be easier to install on a wall though and not in a dog house. It took a little while for our dog to get use to it because it makes a very small humming noise. It definitely puts out heat though and I love that you can set it to keep a constant temp. For the small space I had it in I had it set on 42 and it kept the dog house between 48-50° in below freezing weather. If it warmed up outside though I’d have to shut it off because it would be like 60° In there and our dog would be too hot. Over all I’m happy with he purchase. It keeps our boy toasty when it’s really cold out and he’s ready for bed. I would recommend a bigger space though….the doghouse we have it in seems like a tight fit so we will be upgrading next winter.

Received last night and installed same time. Heated a plastic dog house meant for like a Labrador sized dog to 55 f with an outside temp of 30 f. The app to use remote settings is not supported on Android, when I search the app the play store says it was made for an older version of Android and I can't download or use it.

I was looking for a safe option to heat my coop, I keep the farm guard dogs in there and wanted to heat it up for them without worry about a fire. This does heat but with 6degrees outside it was 18 degrees inside. We like the probe and thermostat but aside from that the wireless function doesn’t work for us as the coop is equivalent to “across the street” from us. Very disappointed with my purchase as I feel it was a waste of $100. If you’re looking to heat a small doghouse, fine, but if you’re looking to heat a relatively small shed like my coop, no. I will say so far it’s been a very safe heat option without threat of fire so that’s why it’s a 2* for me

I really like the heater. Seems to be working great. Only issue is the app does not work. I’ve been messing with it all day and can’t get it to work. When I finally get the wifi connected to find the device, the session will time out. I’ve started over but now I can’t even get past the first step. The page just keeps “uploading” but nothing happens. I even set up my Christmas tree, decorated and cleaned up and the page was still “”uploading.” I purchased this specific heater so I can control it while I’m not home, but the app just sucks. It has 2 out of 5 stars in the App Store. So I’m not alone.
