I purchased these to put on the sides of my son's medical bed. He recently started having seizures and needed padding to keep him safe while in bed. So far I am very pleased with the quality and construction. They are thick enough for our needs and aren't bulky. I like that tgry are made of material that can be wiped down easily if necessary. The straps won't work on our medical bed (I knew this before purchasing based on the pictures) so I used industrial velcro to hold them in place and they work great. Purchased after my grandma came home on hospice with cancer. As she deteriorated, she would reach around and unsecure the Velcro straps, or wedge herself between the foam pads and the bed railing. Tried different configurations, such as flipping them so the straps was at the bottom to make it hard to reach and even knotting the straps. But they served their purpose most of it time, if not just padding the bed but keeping her occupied so she wouldn’t try to get out when she still had strength to try to stand! ... show more

The product is as described. I was not able to use this product because of how the bed rails attach to the bed. I could not slide the bed rails down with this on because it would not fit in between the bed and rails.

I like that they fit the Home bed rails Drive Medical Home Bed Style Adjustable Length Bed Rails, Brown Vein extended to full width perfectly. I saw where many reviews complained about the length of the straps and couldn't understand as they looked long enough in the pictures and they are long enough. The problem is that the side of the strap that is attached to the pad, they don't attach all the way up. They just sew down the bottom half of the attached Velcro side and not the top half of it. That makes the top of the pad lean toward the bed away from the railing. I'm going to try to super glue it down to see if that will fix it. Other than that I like the product and it if you own these rails Drive Medical Home Bed Style Adjustable Length Bed Rails, Brown Vein it helps them to fit tighter to the bed which was an unexpected plus! I don't slide my rails up and down to make the bed or for my mom to get out, I just take it completely off which is just as easy as sliding up and down.
