I think I had reviewed this before but l like this so much I wanted to write another review. I had shopped and researched both online and in stores. While I did see this in one store in the blond wood, most other devices don’t look as great and most don’t have all these features. If I had to give it a “ding” it might be the temperature gauge. It may be because I have it in a tv console and the shelve is right above the shelf with my stereo receiver. It must be the reason that I question if it is giving me true temperature of the room because it always seems to read much hotter then I know the room is. I think it might be sensitive to the heat in the console, but to me it’s fine. ... show more

This clock is amazing and looks perfect! The digits are just large enough and bright enough to be seen from far away - just what I needed (not too large and too bright). And it shows the date and temperature too! It's quite light weight which is ok for me. It also looks quite nice and blends in with the decor in my house. Highly recommended. I already bought 4. I like it overall; the readout is easily readable from across the room, was easy to set the time and date once you understand the mechanics of it, and on the low setting it is adequately illuminated at night without brightening up the whole room. I was disappointed that the clock is not wood as claimed in the description but instead a cheap plastic with a fake wood veneer. But it's functional so it will stay. ... show more

Teenaged boys are genetically designed to sleep in way more than any human ever should. However, that causes problems when they have to get up and get ready for school on weekdays. No longer! This alarm clock was super simple to get set up, has the ability to select a Mon-Fri only alarm (because there’s nothing worse than having to get up on a weekend morning and shut off an alarm you didn’t set), and the alarm is loud enough to wake up the sleeping dragons, but not so loud that the entire kingdom gets awoken from their sleep. First off, there is NO blinking separator on the display. You know the 2 vertical colon-like dots between the hours and minutes? On most digital clocks they constantly flash. That is not the case with this clock. There are 4 levels of brightness, it is easy to set, and has a nice slim form factor. We don’t use it as an alarm clock so I can’t comment on programming it, but I can’t believe that would suddenly be complicated because setting the time is super easy. It isn’t an atomic clock so if power goes out it will need to be reset, or if you have fluctuations in your power you may occasionally lose a minute. No regrets for this purchase. ... show more

    • Beware! This alarm is not reliable, at all!! Overslept for a 2nd time

Little upset here, I overslept for a second time today, made me come late to work, again! And I really liked the alarm design vise, what a bummer. The first time I thought it was my fault, that the time was still set to a previous later time, and so I overslept. From then on I double checked to what I set the time, every night. Last night I set it from 8:30am, to 8am, locked the time in until it stopped blinking, then checked again what time, it showed 8am (alarm 1). This morning, this thing goes of 8:30am (alarm 1 - previous set time), not 8am. This is fatal! Second time too late for my job. I have to return this... Also one little thing I didn't like from the beginning. When you set the alarm from like 8:15 to 8:10, you only can run the minutes forwards to get there, unfortunately no way to go backwards setting minutes. Not a huge deal, but still a lil annoying. But doesn't matter, since I can't relay on that thing, just awful. ... show more
