This microscope is easy to use, lightweight, and packed with cool features like photo and video capture. The high multiples magnification works well, and the kids love exploring everything from leaves to fabric. It makes learning science fun and hands-on. Only reason it’s not 5 stars still a bit basic for older users, but perfect for younger ones!

I like that this microscope has a modern design as opposed to the ones I grew up using….meaning looking through an eyepiece where your eyelashes got in the way. However, this monitor has serious problems. When you magnify the image there is so much background noise/snow that it ruins the image. The advertised pictures are crisp and clear but the real life product is nothing like that. It’s so bad that I thought I’d left the manufacturers plastic film on the screen but no, that’s just the way it is. I’d like to go out on a limb and say kids wouldn’t mind the background noise/snow on the magnified image but I’m not so sure. 2 star deduction for the aforementioned problems.

Lately the kids have become more intrigued about the world around us. I've been hoping to find instruments and tools that help them explore and give them a hands-on view of life. One of the things I've been hoping to share with them is parts of our tiny world and seeing it in a microscope. My first impression of this microscope is amazement. It has so many cool features I wish I had on my microscope when I was a kid. Not only can you view tiny items, you can take pictures of what you are looking at and share it with others. The magnification is from 100X to 1600X and this allows you to get a good look at even the tiniest things. The photos I've taken with the microscope are sharp and detailed as well. The design of this microscope makes it easy to use because it is lightweight and portable. Even the kids can figure out how to use it without too much trouble. The instruction manual also shares how to use the microscope and all the additional features like video and RGB staining we are excited to try in the very near future. Seeing how excited the kids get when they start exploring our world is one reason I recommend this item. It makes science fun for the children.

I got this for a birthday present for my son so i only used it for a few minutes to check it out. It worked really well and was easy to use. I love the size of it and how kid friendly it is. Im always looking for educational toys so this was right up my alley. Kids can learn in a fun way and make it interesting. The magnification is pretty good for the cost and it seems sturdy enough for an older kid to have. I think my kids will have a lot of fun with this and it will be well loved.

I ordered this microscope for my curious daughter and we love it! It was very easy to put together and use. With just a couple minutes of explanation she was able to load it and explore on her own! We have been looking at all kinds of plant material in the yard as well as things around the house. I love that it is rechargeable so we can move it around easily and not be weathered to an outlet. Attached is an image of the spores on a fern leaf that we looked at today!
