When i unpacked it the next day it appears the unit tipped over or was hit on the top. Pulley shrouding was bent up an motor was pushed back leaving the belt loose.

Just over 1 year old and already leaking. POS.

Batteries were kept charged and out of the hot and cold weather. After charging overnight, only 3 green bars, 1 yellow, and one red bar out of five bars. Red and yellow bars are on right of display, however when riding and battery is discharging, bars on the left disappear. As it discharges, bars on right should turn to yellow then red, not disappear on the left completely. Very didappointed in battery life. New batteries are very expensive!

Came delivered on a pallet very secure. Amazon did a good job on the delivery with no damage to the packaging. The compressor had several air leaks that I had to fix myself because it would not hold air. Did the bubble test and multiple fittings were leaking and one of them I found was cross-threaded. Tried calling the 800 number in the manual and all I got was an answering machine to Campbell & Hausfeld. It seems that Campbell & Hausfeld manufactures these compressors for Dewalt. I tried several times and I was never able to talk to customer service and nobody called me back. Also the holes for the rubber feet were drilled too small for the included hardware so I had to redrill the holes to install the feet. An incredible amount of problems that I didn't expect from a company like Dewalt who seemingly has a good reputation. I will not go with dewalt next time I purchase a large tool. Luckily I was able to get everything working on my own, but I shouldn't have had to repair a brand new compressor that costs nearly $1000, not to mention no customer service... ... show more
