it takes a few minutes to fully charge, but if you just want to air up a tire, you can start right away. it is quiet for what it is. you can talk right next to it. the frame seems strong. easy to tilt back and roll with. pressure release and on/off bar are easy to get to without sticking out. this needs a 15a circuit min. so i ran a dedicated line rather than sharing with other outlets. if you are running 15a and run a saw while it is running, it may trip. just need to know what you are running. i am very pleased with this purchase so far. ... show more

    • It’s very quite compared to other compressors it’s size.

So far it has worked well. I did notice that it has trouble starting up if there is any pressure still in the tank. I have been letting out all the pressure after each use. If there is even 20psi in it the compressor can’t start and will trip the fuse trying to start. All you hear is a couple pumps and a humming noise right before it trips the fuse on the outlet. That’s a little bit disappointing since it is not very cheap product. However if you are using it constantly it will cycle on and off when the pressure drops below 120psi which is kind of weird that it has trouble if you let it sit for a while then try and start it with low pressure in it, but works fine if it’s cycling on and off at high pressure 🤔. Other than that it has been good, the controls are easy to use and the build quality looks good. As long as it doesn’t have any issues cycling on and off while in use I guess I can live with it. ... show more

This one is quiet. I'm not used to being able to speak with someone without a raised voice around my previous compressors so this is nice. Quality seems pretty good. Did the break in and used it several times. Twice the compressor wouldn't start (it tried) when I depleted the tank pressure. I just turned the switch to off and ran the pressure down some more and then it worked fine. I think it just needs a little bit more break in plus it was pretty cold. Seemed great, not a bad price for the features. Took about 2 minutes to get up to full pressure. Pretty quiet compared to my old compressor. The second time I tried to use it, it did not work. It only made a humming noise for about 10 seconds and then tripped the breaker every time I tried to use it. Hadn't had it for maybe 2 weeks. It was not eligible for replacement either per Amazon? I had to ship it back for a refund which was also an issue. The original box was damaged when it was shipped to me and the packing foam fell apart into multiple pieces when I took it out of the box so I had to get a second company to come and pick it up to repack it. The contact form Stealth has listed on Amazon's site kept giving me an error message when I tried to send them information. So their customer service department is essentially nonexistent since you can't contact them. Overall not worth the hassle to have to return this 2 weeks after I got it. I won't buy another compressor from Stealth since they don't seem to stand behind their products. Maybe if they had just replaced it with a working model I would give them a better review. ... show more
