  • Fantastic!
Style: Inflator Tool Only
I love this thing. Works like a champ, easy to use, and the multiple ways to power it make it super versatile. This was an upgrade from a small cheap unit I carried in my vehicle for years - essentially for tire emergencies and inflating my SUP when I didn’t want to use the hand pump. While this one took its place, it is often my go-to for quick jobs at home. Yea- it takes a bit longer than using the real-deal air compressor, but you can set it and walk away and it stops when it’s done. Way easier than moving the vehicle or fiddling with long cords when you just need a tire topped off across the yard. Also- works great on truck tires (that was a main concern I had when shopping for a new unit). I highly recommend!!! The only reason I would get something else is if you wanted the version that has the air + jump box. This one is air only. ... show more

  • Pricy but it works well with ample power and battery life.
Style: Inflator Tool Only
A bit pricy, but it works flawlessly and has a quality feel overall. Easy to set pressure, and as they say it shuts off when desired amount is reached. Power is good. Inflates motorcycle tires in seconds, cars in minutes. Makes tire pressure periodic adjustments an easy task. Good run time on even 2 amp batteries. For off road use where we may need to "air up" after airing down for sand etc, we take 4 and 6 amp dewalt batteries. Not cheap, but it provides a reliable way to get the job done. ... show more

  • DeWalt Portable Air Compressor Works Great!
Style: Inflator Tool Only
The DeWalt portable air compressor inflates auto tires quickly to 35 psi. It uses the 20 volt battery so you can inflate multiple tires on one charge. I’m using the 9 amp hour size battery, so it will inflate longer than the 2-3-6 amp hour sizes. Also comes with a needle for football, basketball and soccer ball inflation. Recently used this to inflate a couple inflatable beds with the included hose. Very happy with the operation and adjustable psi indicator is very easy to use. ... show more

  • Great for travel, emergency needs...useful for laziness
Style: Inflator Tool Only
This is a bit overdue, I've had this product for a while, just haven't put it to use. I purchased this 8 months ago, acquired the case for this through Vine. Both very fine products. I was able to write up the case on Vine, mainly because the case got put to immediate use and showed usefulness for storage, ability to lock, and keep this piece of equipment safe in the locked trunk of my pickup. However, this hadn't found a use yet. Put to use today out of laziness of driving to the gas station and paying for air. A bit of cold weather and my tire pressure check set off, it was time to actually put air directly, since the last time was oil change at the dealer that rotated and topped off the tires. A couple quirky things, but more common sense. No rules or instructions, but playing around a bit, they kind of make sense. I noted some of the write-ups here about the "portability" factor, yet this doesn't come with a battery. However, I specifically bought this without the battery in mind, since it came with a cigarette lighter plug. The quirks...your engine must be running, not just power on. This uses a lot of power and the engine gives it that umph needed. Without the engine on, start this and it immediately shuts off. And, though this is small, once you set it up, the psi needed to inflate, it must sit upright on the ground to work. Tipping, tilting, or laying sideways, the compressor doesn't work and it shuts off immediately. And it slightly over inflates. It's not much, .3 psi over my setting, but the air nozzle screws into the tire nozzle, shows the pressure of your tire, then you set your needed psi, press start and leave it. Unscrewing to release, you lose a little bit of air, enough to leave you exactly what you wanted in your tire. All 4 of my tires were low, oddly, all even, as my initial tire gauge light didn't come on as the balance was even on the truck. When the light did come on, one tire was lower than the other 3, glad it did to check. So, starting at 30psi, to inflate to 44psi, I set the gauge. No instructions, but when you power on, it is set to inflate tires. Rotate the "clock" dial and you will see psi go up. You can connect to your tire first, and it will show you the pressure, or set the psi then connect your tire. Press the start button in the middle of the dial once psi is set and connected. Quick work moving from tire to the next, it didn't power off, kept the psi set, just had to connect to the next tire and press start. Overall, it did take some time. This is not quick inflate, like gas station top off, I think it took me 30 something minutes for all 4 tires, minus the playing around with power settings. The cord, from the cigarette plug in out my window to the tire, is long. Plenty of length for pickup trucks, though this may be stretching if you are inflating tires to connected trailer. The hose from the compressor to your tire will fit most sized tires, it looks. I had this set a few inches away from the tire, however, if I put this right next to the tire, I still had room to move to extend the hose to the top of the tire to inflate. If all else fails, you can set this on a brick, stool, as long as it sits upright on its legs during inflate. This is loud. Sounds like a mower next door, only without running over junk as it's moving along. And for 30 minutes plus of continued use, my truck heated up faster than this. The cord itself was hot when I removed it to curl up and place inside the compressor's storage area, but the compressor itself still felt cold. Note, not the cord, but the cigarette plug was hot, not the rest of the cord. If you are looking to save money from inflating tires at the gas station, this is not it. At least, if you get by on $3 per gas station visit, you have many uses on this before you hit even. There is no value here. However, traveling, emergency use, camping, piece of mind if you have to patch and inflate, or end up nowhere near a gas station, this is what it is designed for. Works perfectly. It is worth every penny spent, and with the case keeping it from weathering in storage, it is a perfect combination. I highly suggest both. I ended up using first time out of laziness of driving to a gas station to inflate my tires. However, this gave me an opportunity to put this to the test, and I'm very happy with this product. It works well, albeit a bit slow, and the piece of mind that I have this on me if needed. ... show more

  • This has become my go-to inflation tool
Style: Inflator Tool Only
After using the DEWALT DCC020IB for several days across various scenarios (car tires, sports equipment, camping gear), I'm genuinely impressed. If you're already in the DEWALT 20V ecosystem, this is a no-brainer addition to your lineup. Top Highlights: 1. Triple Power Options = Ultimate Flexibility The ability to run on 20V battery, 12V car outlet, OR 110V AC adapter means this works everywhere. Dead battery? Plug it into your car. No vehicle nearby? Use wall power. This versatility alone justifies the investment. 2. Screw-On Chuck is Brilliant Unlike press-on chucks that leak air, the threaded Schrader valve connection creates a secure seal. It takes a few extra seconds to attach, but you lose virtually no air when disconnecting – especially noticeable when inflating sports balls or lower-pressure items. 3. Set-It-and-Forget-It Accuracy The digital gauge with auto-shutoff is fantastic. Dial in your PSI, hit start, and walk away. It stops automatically at your target pressure – no more guessing or over-inflation. The backlit display is easy to read even in dim garages. 4. Genuinely Portable & Practical At 7.2 lbs with compact storage for all accessories (hoses, adapters, 12V cord), it fits easily in your trunk. The onboard LED light is surprisingly useful for nighttime roadside situations. 5. Solid Battery Life A 5Ah battery topped off all four of my car tires (from 30 to 35 PSI) with power to spare. For quick top-offs, even a 2Ah battery handles multiple tires without issue. What Could Be Better: 1. Speed for Large Volumes While perfectly adequate for maintaining tire pressure, it's slower than dedicated high-CFM compressors for filling completely flat tires or large truck tires. Expect 2-3 minutes to add 5-10 PSI to a standard car tire. Not ideal for heavy off-roading scenarios where you're constantly airing down/up. 2. Price Premium It's definitely more expensive than basic 12V inflators, but the build quality, accuracy (Ryobi competitors are only ±1 PSI), and triple power options justify the cost if you value convenience and already own DEWALT batteries. Bottom Line: This has replaced both my garage compressor for quick jobs and my cheap car emergency inflator. The convenience factor is enormous – I actually check my tire pressure regularly now because it's so effortless. Highly recommended for DEWALT 20V users or anyone wanting a professional-grade portable inflation solution. ... show more

  • Good but overpriced
Style: Inflator Tool Only
Good, but overpriced! It is built well and works great. You set the digital tire psi you want and hit the "play" button and it stops perfectly on that number you set. It is good for small items but takes a while to pump up a flat tire. If you have a flat you for sure will need to plug it into the 12v port and keep your vehicle running otherwise it will shut off due to not enough power. It WILL NOT pump up your flat tire using a 20A Dewalt battery. It might get you a few pounds but than it will shut off on low power. I am giving this 4 stars only because I love Dewalt. I own all Dewalt power tools and they are exceptional, but they fell short on this one. For that price it should be robust and serious like their other tools. This is not worth the money until Dewalt gets it down into the $75 range! I hope Dewalt reads this and improves it into a kick ass tool! ... show more

  • Essential emergency tool that completely pays for itself.
Style: Inflator Tool Only
I use this portable tire inflator all the time for everything from low tires on my truck and my daily driver Jeep to my zero-turn mower and my son's bike tires. It has been incredibly reliable and has saved me from being stranded on the road multiple times. The tool is well-made, durable, and very easy to operate. You just attach it to the tire stem, turn the power on, set your desired PSI target, and hit start. It is highly accurate. I always add 0.5 PSI to whatever pressure target I am pumping to just to be safe and give myself a split-second window to unscrew the valve hose without losing air. I keep it packed in my vehicle at all times. If this tool quit working today, I would go out and buy a brand-new replacement within a couple of days. It completely pays for itself and gives you massive peace of mind knowing it is in your trunk. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Type 2 delivered
Style: Inflator Tool Only
Jan 2026 in the US - received Type 2 PROS: - Exudes build quality, nothing feels cheap. - It's plenty fast, went from 27 PSI to 33 PSI on my AT tires in about 30 seconds. I guess Type 2 improves the speed a lot. - The digital gauge is spot on - Changing the PSI with the rotary knob is very quick and easy, knob feels solid. - No loose parts/accessories, everything stays attached to the unit. I saw a YouTube video that must have been older where they complained that the blower hose nozzle hangs loose, but there is a place for the nozzle to snap into, could be a Type 2 addition. - Works fine with the smaller capacity 20V batteries, had no problems filling up eight automobile tires, a bike, and a lawn mower. CONS: - LOUD - I mean wear hearing protection loud. The blower tube also creates a high pitched ear piercing whine depending on orientation, not an issue with the high pressure hose though. It's completely secondary to its main function, but the "blower" aspect of this is going to work great as a replacement for air duster cans. I was going to order a dedicated device for this, but happily surprised that this inflator is going to fulfill that need. I have some small shopvac detail nozzles that I can adapt to this that'll provide a concentrated air stream. ... show more
