Description

Our 20V MAX Corded/Cordless Air Inflator is part of wheel & tire air compressors & inflators that can run on any one of three power sources for maximum versatility: 20V MAX battery, 12V DC, or 110V AC. Use it on the jobsite, or on the go. It features a high-pressure rubber hose for durability. The threaded chuck and included onboard accessories make it easy to inflate items from tires to footballs. Setting desired on handheld air compressor air pressure is simple with the digital gauge, and the auto-shutoff provides accurate inflation. The high-volume hose allows fast inflation of mattresses and other inflatables with the push of a button. Move the hose to the deflation port for quick and easy take down. Battery, charger, and AC power adapter sold separately.

I am not a car guy, I only understand the basics like replacing your fluids and filters - this thing is crazy good and unbelievably simple to use. Worth every penny. Even has a cigarette lighter for power if you're on the road or don't have an outlet nearby. I had it sitting on the hood and it fell off, still perfectly in tact no issues. My tires are rated at 34psi, filled up each one from 27 to 34 in less than 1 minute. Super quick inflation. The pump has an electronic interface and gauge so you can actively see your tire's psi as it's filling up! Super cool. Works exactly as expected. I really like the Dewalt 20V Max tire inflator. It's solid, and well made. Nothing about it feels cheap or flimsy. It can inflate a truck tire. The Dewalt's pressure guage is pretty accurate. My Jaco tire pressure gauge gives me virtually the same reading as the Dewalt inflator. The displays are easy to read. The controls are easy to use. It's not fast, but I wouldn't call it slow. It's kinda loud, but so are the other tire inflators I've tried. It's kinda large, compared to a lot of other emergency tire inflators, but that's because it has abilities most other other tire inflators dont'. It can run off a 12V DC car power outlet ( I haven't tried that), a 110V AC power outlet (I haven't tried that), and a 20V Max battery. ... show more

Jan 2026 in the US - received Type 2 PROS: - Exudes build quality, nothing feels cheap. - It's plenty fast, went from 27 PSI to 33 PSI on my AT tires in about 30 seconds. I guess Type 2 improves the speed a lot. - The digital gauge is spot on - Changing the PSI with the rotary knob is very quick and easy, knob feels solid. - No loose parts/accessories, everything stays attached to the unit. I saw a YouTube video that must have been older where they complained that the blower hose nozzle hangs loose, but there is a place for the nozzle to snap into, could be a Type 2 addition. - Works fine with the smaller capacity 20V batteries, had no problems filling up eight automobile tires, a bike, and a lawn mower. CONS: - LOUD - I mean wear hearing protection loud. The blower tube also creates a high pitched ear piercing whine depending on orientation, not an issue with the high pressure hose though. It's completely secondary to its main function, but the "blower" aspect of this is going to work great as a replacement for air duster cans. I was going to order a dedicated device for this, but happily surprised that this inflator is going to fulfill that need. I have some small shopvac detail nozzles that I can adapt to this that'll provide a concentrated air stream. ... show more

I've gotten some of those portable cordless tire pumps, but they either run out of battery too soon or take too long to inflate my car tires. A lot of them are off brands that while they have a detachable battery it's hard to find or not worth getting an off-brand spare. While as a Vine reviewer I have tested a few of those, and they are OK. I wanted something more robust with easy to replace readily available batteries. I knew Dewalt was a popular brand that makes many cordless tools that I use. I noticed this didn't come with a battery, but I have plenty that fit the bill, so I didn't have to worry about having ready power. Additionally, it's very powerful so standing outside on cold days inflating the tires is going to cost me less effort. This is a very simple device to use, not a bunch of selects like some chargers have with various pressure metrics. This uses PSI, plus there is no selection for a lot of different vehicles or tire applications, just a choice between inflation a blower. The two sides of the device have wrap arounds for their use. On the left facing front is a rubber high pressure cord with a fitting for tires. On the right side in a larger diameter flex hose for just blowing air. The display allows you to select tire or air which has a simple for a gust of wind. When blowing up a tire, a simple dial allows you to set the frequency, and the pump stops when it's reached. Inside one of the side panels is a cigar lighter cord and plug in to use for connection to your car battery as a backup via the lighter port. So, you can use if the plug in battery is dead, or you don't have one yet as it is not included. Dewalt 20V batteries are available in may sizes, and I like that I can put a bigger long lasting one to refill my tires without recharging in-between. Unit is not as light as the smaller ones but much more powerful and has a convenient carry handle. I when connected to a tire it will inflate it faster than most of the portables, and you can just sit it down as the connection hose is long enough to reach. Recommended. ... show more

I recently used this DEWALT Tire Inflator Portable Air Compressor during a road trip and it saved me! I was so relieved when i could inflate my tire easily without needing a knife to open it. The automatic shut off and LED light were super handy and the tool worked well overall.
