I use this chair at my desk. It is supportive for my back and I don't need to add a lumbar pillow to it, I can use it just the way it is. I like that I can make it different heights to accommodate when I push it into the living room for company. It works well on my carpet, but it slides a bit easily on hard wood floors and there were a few mishaps before I got the carpet permanently under my desk. Now it's safe and there's no problems with it rolling too easily. I don't think it was very easy to put together but now that it's assembled, I don't need to worry about that again. ... show more

Good value and very comfortable. BUT it does slide out from you pretty easily if you don’t sit all the way back on it. Not really a problem for adults but I imagine it would be problematic for kids.

We needed a chair for the computer in the playroom. Ordered and assembled this chair and it works well. BUT…I found that on uncarpeted flooring the chair will tip over forward, which would make it unsafe for children or elders (like me). Fortunately the playroom is carpeted.

The chair is tricky to assemble. The instructions are bare minimum. The seat base is thin and cheaply constructed and makes me - being 190 lbs - a little nervous. I'm trying to avoid sitting on the front edge of it - a bad habit of mine - as the sag is disconcerting. The back is ergonomic and comfortable. The biggest problem is the way it behaves on my polycarbonate floor mat. I've already had it slip out from under me twice when I sit down on it too close to the front edge. I think the chair is a tad too light and the center of gravity is a bit too much to the rear and the wheelbase is a bit smaller than my old chair. All those combined and if I don't sit down on it well into the seat I'm gonna be on the floor! Kind of dangerous. Chairs this lightweight and flimsy should be on 4 legs, IMHO. ... show more

I bought this desk chair for my home office when I needed to work from home during quarantine and the extended period of time during the pandemic (and indefinitely until I am able to go back to the office...) I have low back and neck issues which cause migraines, so a supportive chair is important. The one thing that I noticed right away is that the adjustments do not allow the seat height to be raised to a terribly comfortable level for anyone with longer legs - and I am not tall. I am 5' 5" with longer legs, but even at the highest setting the chair seems short. The armrests are also set low and are not adjustable in any direction, which I should have been more careful about when reading the item description. But despite not being able to move them laterally, the arms are simply too low to begin with, so they are of no use in an armed chair which defeats the purpose of spending more money for a chair with armrests. The seat is comfortable, but could use a bit more padding if you plan on using it for an entire work day, and it lacks an independent tilt adjustment to set the seat at an appropriate angle for the best support. Lumbar support is pretty slim despite the item description as a "lumbar support chair". It does have a support across the back of the chair in the form of a wide piece of curved, hard plastic across the mid-lower back in the lumbar area which is actually the bow of the molded arm piece across the back of the chair and is at the same height as the armrests - which explains why the armrests sit too low - but because the seat adjustment options are so minimal, this support is only semi-useful. Assembly is quick and easy and the chair is sturdy - no complaints there. Swivel works well, and the overall quality seems quite good - just nothing fancy as far as ergonomics go. It may be better suited for a student who is not going to need to sit for 9+ hours each day. I am going to need to get a different chair... the migraines I had under control are back. ... show more
