I purchased this handlebar attachment to use to attach the Burley Travon cargo bike trailer. I wasn’t sure if my seat post would have the needed room to attach the hitch since my seat is so low due to being 5’0. The bar that connects to the hitch (that connects to the seat post) needs to be parallel to the ground and I was sure it would be at too much of an angle to work. So I bought this and it worked perfectly to hold the hitch at the same angle as my seat post but just a few inches higher. I added a little grip tape onto the handlebar before I attached it to the hitch to help it stay in place and not scratch the metal though I wasn’t too worried about it. (The handlebars only cost $15. You can’t beat that price!) Avoid electrical tape because it’ll get sticky, soft and slowly slip around whatever it’s taped to during hot weather. Even w the handlebar near (not touching) the back of the seat, it doesn’t bother me while I’m riding and hauls the trailer perfectly. If I wanted, I could remove the grips and add turn signals for my e-bike or something else. I ended up not needing to use it because the amazing Travoy quick hitch is so universal, all I needed was 2 inches of seat post space which I had. But I decided to keep the handlebar because I might need it in the future. Since it can be attached to anything round within the parameters of the closure, the possibilities are endless especially w a bike. I definitely recommend these handlebars for their low price, and easy and convenient attachment possibilities.

I can’t believe they shipped something so funny. It’s at about a 30% angle, for a handlebar this is quite a big issue…

I use this handlebar on a Radwagon4 e-cargobike. It's very simple and attaches securely to my seatpost. Rad Power Bikes sells their own handlebar made specifically for their bike but it's very expensive. This thing does basically the same job at a fraction of the price. The grips that come with this are absolute junk and I immediately threw them out and added handlebar tape (used on road bike drop bars) instead -- night and day difference.

I attached this to my e-bike seat post so my child could ride with me while he sat on the rack. It worked with some cut pool noodle in between the brackets/attachments to give solid grip- so it would stay in one place and not swivel around the post

I recently added a FatteBike Major T cargo bike to my bike stable. My wife loves to ride on the back as we tool around the neighborhood or run light errands. The only problem was that there was no convenient hand hold, other than me, to grab on to. This handle added a convenient grab point and offers some unexpected benefits. I found that it makes moving the bike around easier than grabbing the seat to get it into bike racks. It is especially good as a lift to easily pull the bike up on its center stand. I found the handle is well built and seems to have strong welds. Another reviewer commented that their’s was weak and broke. I have a hard time imagining that happening with the handle I received.

i'd love to be proven wrong, but regardless of what you search you get this model by this and 3 other names. the grips are stubby, long enough for my kids hands NOW, but not really appropriately sized (when compared to grips on a kids bike, or scooter). they off gas, a terrible smell. thankfully i had a spare ESI and just cut it to fit. the clamp system instills no confidence, but i used some old wrap on my seatpost to lock it in a little tighter. the hardware should for sure come with nylock nuts but it doesnt. i'll eventually have to replace those. but all that said, it gives my kid something to hold on to and does the trick, i guess. if anyone knows of another option with similar dimensions, feel free to send it my way.
