We bought this fan to replace the one in our master bedroom. We have no regrets and absolutely love it! Here are a few quick notes to help you decide if this is the right fan for you. Install time: It took me (one person) about two hours, but that's because I had to first remove an old ceiling fan from the ceiling in our bedroom. This new Depuley 72-inch fan was fairly straightforward to install -- minimum skill required. The only hiccup that I experienced was with the mounting bracket that screwed onto the ceiling electrical junction box. The bracket that was supplied by Depluley did not quite line up with the screw holes on my existing electrical junction box, so I ended up re-using the old bracket from the previous fan. That worked without a hitch, and the downrod from the new Depuley fan fit right into the old bracket without any problem. Switches: Our old fan had two wall switches -- one for the light, and one for the fan. With this install, I had to cap off the (dimmer) switch that was used for the light on the old fan. You can only use one (on/off) switch for this Depuley fan, which worked out fine for us. Remote: As you can (hopefully) see from the pictures that I posted, this fan comes with an actual remote control and also instructions on how to download an app to your phone for a virtual remote. We have both, and they both work quite well. The remote -- particularly the virtual one -- gives you all kinds of control over various settings. The fan light can be white, warm, or the two of them blended for a super bright light. The fan itself has six different speeds. You can set it on a timer to turn off after 1/2/4 hours. With the virtual remote, you can change the R/G/B settings for the color spectrum that the LED light uses. It's pretty slick! Install instructions: I've also included photos of the installation/user manual. It's a full-color multi-page booklet that's both encouraging (really!) and informative. And it's in real, easy to understand English. Honestly, I was expecting a one or two page black-and-white wordless picto-sheet that would require a secret decoder ring in order to figure out how to install the fan. Nope! Very easy instructions in a well thought out booklet. Very cool. Customer support: I haven't had to use them yet, but I first found this fan on another web site (e*Bay) and reached out to the seller to ask a few questions. They've been very prompt and informative. I suspect that if any issues ever came up, they would be just as supportive and helpful. Sound/Noise: This fan is super quiet -- even at the highest speed. You won't even know that it's running -- other than the fact that it's moving so much air around and making the room that it's in feel very cool. :) I think that's it for now. I may add to this review later. You won't regret buying this fan. BTW, I forgot to add that it has a 5-year warranty!

I ordered 7 of these fans and they look great. They are quiet and move a lot of air. One came with a broken light cover. Their customer service was excellent. They sent me the replacement part immediately.

We really like the fan. It was the look we wanted. 72inch moves good air. 4 stars for the app being primitive. Not a big deal, the remotes work fine. The cover that goes against ceiling would be better if the diameter was another 1/4 to 1/2 inch. It is a tight squeeze to fit the receiver into the housing. The housing looks normal after install, but I know it is a little ovalled to make it work. Great fans. We have two of them.

I purchased two of these for my loft. Upgraded to 72". They work well. I love the circulation of air, they are very quiet and the air coverage is great for cooling the space. The crisp lighting is great! The whole area has light coverage. I am very pleased. They came fast and customer service is spot on. Easy to install and they come with remotes that makes operation convenient, no chains! My light covers were damaged when I received them. I reported it and they responded very quickly and send me replacements. If you have a large area to cover, these are for you. I would definitely recommend.

I like everything about the look of this fan. The dimmer light is really nice. The problem is the fan does not work. No matter what speed is selected it barely turns and then stops after about 20 seconds.
