Some would probably be used in dialog with a caregiver, such as discussing time of day, days, simple math, etc. Others would provide endless activities in manual skills such as zipping and unzipping, buttoning, snapping, etc. The book has pages that zip out, so more than one patient could use parts of the book as individual blankets. I've purchased several fidget items for a senior group with cognitive issues, and this is among the best. It is probably best used by those with more cognitive skills than the most advanced cases since it involves active matching shapes, animals, time and day recognition, etc. Great for working with a caregiver. It's one of a kind, and I'm glad to add it to my collection of these wonderful anxiety and boredome relievers. Well done!!

The media could not be loaded. My wife is a special education teacher who teaches with mostly young autistic students. She gave high praises about this item and it covers several domains in training young autistic children. She did mention that when you are separating the pieces, use a scissor, don't just pull them apart, the piece may break or damage. Other than that she said, it has great designs, it literally use every part of the booklet for education. Lots of thought was put in there. Bravo to the designer.
