The Delxo 3 step ladder is perfect for me with sturdy, wide treads, padded handle at the top and it's easy to operate. I'm (let's just say) "big boned" and nearly 300lbs. In my thinner days standing on a chair was fine but I'm a bit older and heavier than then so I need a better solution and this is it. Here is what I like: + This is sturdy and stable for this nearly 300lb lady! + 3 steps give me all the range I need in the house (changing light bulbs and cleaning up high) + The treads are wide and deep with a non-slip top for sure footing + I can use it as an impromptu seat - the padded handle works as a back rest: Nice Design! + Opening and closing are easy, sure locking and smooth + It stores compactly when closed + Non-scuff feet to protect floors What I don't so much: - It's a little heavy, but could it be as sturdy if lighter? Not really a valid complaint. In conclusion my only down-side (a little heavy) probably isn't reasonable as it has a lot to do with the step-stool's sturdiness. And there is so much I like about the Delxo step stool. Whether I'm taking a seat on the wide/deep treads or climbing up to change a light bulb or clean the top of my windows this step-stool feels sure and secure. It's easy to open and use and even being heavy I feel secure standing on it. If that doesn't earn 5 stars, I don't know what does. Excellent step stool for my use..

I'm short, so I need help reaching high spaces (2nd and 3rd shelves in my cupboards - places average height people can reach - lol) I looked everywhere to find a decent 3 step, step-ladder. Once this came in and I tried it out I was 100% pleased. There was no assembly required. It takes up no space. It's easy to clean if needed. It's sturdy as heck!! The most difficult thing for me was trying to figure out how to break it down when done with it. But once I figured that out, I was a pro. There are small metal clips under the edges of the top step that you just gently pull up to release the pressure and the step-ladder release and it'll fold right up.

This is a really great stool. It's very sturdy (with a weight limit of 330 pounds it would work for almost anyone) and easy to set up and use. It took a couple of minutes to understand the directions for folding it back up but once I figured it out I found it very easy to fold and put away. It's heavier than most kitchen stools but still light enough for me to move it around easily. It also has wide steps and the handle at the top which make it very easy to climb up and down. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I bought it to fit in a space which is 34.875" tall (the description says that the stool is 33.85" tall folded). However, when I received it it wouldn't fit in the space. I measured it and found that it is actually 35.25" tall when folded. That was a major disappointment, but I like the stool so much that I found another place to store it. If you need a sturdy, easy to use two-step stool and don't need it to be the stated height folded, then this would be a very good choice.

For some reason, buying a step ladder was way more difficult than expected. Most are cheap, the rubber grips on the feet fall off, and the steps are either too low or there aren't enough of them to be all that useful. Then of course, is the ridiculous number of such ladders available on Amazon. Why are there so many?!? I like to think that from an anthropological perspective, when 500 years pass and our future ancestors are looking back on our culture they will assume we were all very short and had a habit of keeping necessities higher up. Why else would we need hundreds of types of a basic step ladder? Maybe they'll assume we had some sort of ground beast that forced us to elevate everything. Whatever the reason, I am happy I picked this particular ladder. It's very sturdy, the grips on the legs are high quality and gentle on wood or tile floors, the ladder looks nice - I mean for ladder, it's not a Maserati - and it is incredibly lightweight. This is a great step ladder, I appreciate the third step -- especially the fact that the top step is square and roomy enough to plant both feet on it. It's not going to fulfill your life goals, but it's a damn fine ladder for reaching items you've stored in the top of your closest -- you know, away from the ground beasts.

I really like this ladder! It's lightweight but sturdy and the faux wood grain looks surprisingly good. I'm not a small person but feel confident using it. In the last couple of days I've cleaned all the high, hard to reach places in my house, lol.

I just moved into a house with a kitchen that is not short-person-friendly. I'm 5'2" and can't reach past the first shelf in the kitchen cabinets (they are set extremely high and the kitchen has 10-foot ceilings). I knew I had to get a stool or ladder of some sort if I was going to fully utilize the storage space. My kitchen table chairs are covered in 1950's brittle vinyl, so I don't like to make a habit of standing on them. I didn't want some industrial, metal ladder that look that looked like it belonged on a construction site, and I didn't want a plastic step stool that cheapened my fabulous cabinets and Mexican tile floor. This ladder is perfect! It blends in with the southwestern decor, folds flat, is extremely sturdy, and easy to clean! I can fold it up with one hand, which is great when you're in the middle of cooking or have your hands full. I'll fold it up and lean it against the wall with no worry that it's going to fall over. And again, the wooden look makes it an item that I actually WANT to have out in my kitchen. It's not an eye-sore. The price is up there, but for me, it was worth it considering how often I would need to use it (multiple times per day).
