This is a very nice faucet. Love the aerator feature, which works great!! (Be careful, though, or it will "foam" over the top of the container you're filling.) I liked the slight changes in design from the lower-end ones $30-$40 range), so I treated myself. In retrospect, is it worth more than twice the price? Not sure. It's all a matter of taste and budget. One little quirk is a bit puzzling. The sprayer has to sit in a specific position or it will drip slowly even when the faucet is turned off. Rotating it just slightly in its "nest" stops the drip, so now I just make sure to place it correctly in the first place. Easy fix. Installation appears to be very straightforward, so if you have even minimal skills you can probably install it yourself. (But I'm recovering from major back surgery, so I opted not to torque my spine by twisting around under the sink.) The plumber had the old one out and this installed, tested, and cleanup done in 40 minutes, soup to nuts. If you're paying a plumber to install, though, factor that into the total cost in evaluating the value of this one versus the lower priced options. Delta customer service is excellent, by the way. And all Delta products carry a lifetime warranty (to the original purchaser, at least) on both performance and finish. ... show more

This Delta Classic 400-DST single handle kitchen sink faucet with matching side sprayer is a very beautiful faucet! And the "arc" of the spout is great for filling large pots or anything somewhat tall. After extensive research, I felt good about ordering it, and did expect it to meet my expectations. But, now that it's installed and we operated it, and we stand there looking at it, all I can say is; WOW! it looks and operates ABOVE what I expected, and I expected, or hoped for, a lot. The middle position delivers a good warm temp, and of course, the full cold or full hot does what it's supposed to do. The side sprayer is a delight to use. So, this Delta faucet is simply wonderful and we're so glad we chose it over all the other's we researched. INSTALLATION was not hard at all. Any "difficulties" I encountered were not the fault of the faucet install, but with my own plumbing setup. Even with that the installation was really very easy and straight forward. We highly recommend this wonderful Delta Faucet Classic Single-Handle Kitchen Sink Faucet with Side Sprayer in Matching Finish, Chrome 400-DST!! Great faucet. HERE'S THE ADDED UPDATE: I used DANCO waterproof grease on the o-rings on the snap-in end of the side sprayer. ... show more

This is the worst faucet I have ever purchased. I have been a homeowner for 30 years and have replaced multiple faucets and this is the worst quality I have ever seen. It leaks when it is turned off and also leaks down the sprayer which causes leaks under the sink even when you are not using the sprayer. It was installed by a professional plumber and has been looked at several times by that same plumber. The bottom line is that this is a piece of junk. ... show more
