Let me start by saying the model I’m reviewing is the “Standard” version (not the Touch2O). I mention this because Amazon compiles the reviews for both models together. There’s a lot to like about this faucet. It’s a Delta, which is well known for quality and value, and while Delta has offerings to fit every budget, this is obviously one of their more expensive faucets and therefore may not be the best “value”. That said, you can definitely see and feel a difference in the overall quality and proformance compared to similar style, higher value faucets. Installation is straight forward and an easy DIY project for most homeowners that can be completed in less than 1 hour with common household tools. The InnoFlex Pex supplies lines can be cut to custom fit your application, but it’s not necessary if you don’t feel up to that task. I am a little disappointed that the optional deck plate (for 3-hole sink installs) was not included. I feel like a faucet in this price range should include any optional mounting hardware to adapt to common installation applications. Having to purchase this separately makes the buying process more complicated and obviously more costly. This faucet not only looks better, than the 6 yr old, $200 Moen faucet it replaced (which failed by the way), but it also performs better. The Spray is more powerful (as is the stream), and the magnetic docking spray head insures it never dangles. The verdict is still out on the “ShieldSpray” feature, I’m not sure yet if I’ll find it useful or just a gimmick, and only time will tell how the “Lumicoat Artic Stainless” finish will hold up against our hard water. Overall, I’m very pleased with the new faucet. It looks and works great and the differences in quality over higher value options is apparent. ... show more

This review is for Delta Faucet Cassidy Single-Handle Kitchen Sink Faucet with Pull Down Sprayer, ShieldSpray Technology and Magnetic Docking Spray Head, Lumicoat Arctic Stainless 9197-AR-PR-DST The installation was straight forward I was able to install it about 45mins. The supply lines are included that helped the installation process a lot. The pull out operates very easily and it pulls back without trying to push it in. Also, it snaps back nicely due to the magnet on the head. Once it is snapped it won’t hang out it will stay in place. The nob operates very smoothly doesn’t require any effort to open or close and it is easy to set up the temperature. The head easily moves around and it provides spray and stream option. It looks super elegant and fancy. I like the height not too tall. Overall this is a well-made high-quality kitchen faucet. ... show more

Great faucet… but we had to have it tightened up/reattached after a few days. Single hole faucets can be problematic to stay mounted. Does seem well made and we do like it. Would buy again.

This is a great faucet and it was easy to install. I did have to buy the 3 hole plate to cover the extra two whole over my sink. I found it for like $60 on Amazon. It does an excellent job at not showing or repealing water spots. I had a Moen faucet for over 7 years and when it broke I bought a cheaper Moen model that only lasted a year. I would not recommended getting a cheap faucet for your kitchen sink. This one should last at least 7-10 years. ... show more

    • Solid faucet upgrade for us
Intro: I wanted to replace our current faucet (different OEM) with this model because the current faucet continues to leak from the handle, even after repeated tightening. Pro’s: • Very well built, nice finish • Cartridge system should reduce opportunities for leaks • Easy installation • Spray options are good. I like the “shield spray” pattern but based on feedback from others I’ll remain reserved on how that works long term Con’s: • None at this time Final thoughts: • This is a really nice faucet system which I’m hoping will give us years of solid use. The amount of time I had to spend tightening and repairing the faucet this one replaced will be the gauge that this new unit ultimately gets measured against. So far so good. Once our kitchen refinish is complete, I’ll snap and post some photos. ... show more

I love the look of this faucet, so my style... extremely stylish.... being part of Deltas high end line, the finish is just superb.... that is what you are paying for when you get into the better faucets, the finish lasts. some complain the touch fails...this one is NOT the touch on, but I have installed other touch on Deltas that have not failed yet. Knowing Deltas customer service, I am sure they stood behind their product as they offer a great warranty. the hose is long, 20", sprayer switch is smoother... hose glide easy, be sure hose is not obstructed under sink. The swivel is smoother, volume control works smooth as well... A great looking faucet at a fair price point.... very happy... highly recommended! ... show more

    • The faucet deck plate wouldn't tighten
Not completely satisfied with this kitchen faucet. The installation wasn't so bad, but the deck plate would not tighten down. Because of the loose fitting, it leaks.
