Overall this set is well made and durable. I wanted to leave notes on each tool, see below: Gloves: These gloves are fairly standard - not the show stopper of the set. They are a plain nylon garden glove that is good for digging holes or picking up leaves but they aren’t strong enough for rose thorns so you might want some stronger gloves if you are pruning roses. Trowel: The trowel is the best item of the bunch! I’ve broken a few trowels due to rocky soil where I live and using cheaply made trowels. This one has a sturdy wood handle and the shovel and arm is a thick strong metal that has no bend or give to it. The trowel is durable and easily the best trowel I’ve ever owned. Shears: These shears are sharp and comfortable to use while pruning. They have worked great to prune roses and thinner branches.the only downside is just that they are a flat black so easy to misplace versus brightly colored shears - but that’s my own fault for throwing my tools around. All in all, the set is a great kit for replacing tools or gifting as a starter set. All 3 items are well made and sturdy.

The media could not be loaded. The product is really sturdy and easy to use for your garden enjoyment. It's really comfortable and don't hurt your hands while digging and clipping plants and flowers. A really cool gift idea too.

I own a small farm and nursery, and I wanted to get an extra soil scoop and clippers for trimming seedlings or small bushes of suckers. I've used the hand trowel a few times to mix soil and it has a good weight, a little on the heavy side, but that means good metal and good wood. It feels of higher quality than most of my small hand tools, and it certainly looks nicer with its darker colors than the others. The gloves are a nice touch, but personally, I go through so many gloves I don't think these will last more than a month...probably even less because I started using them on a concrete job, and working with concrete tends to destroy gloves. But big perk to the gloves, at least for my use, and for most gardeners, is that they are waterproof. The only thing that I didn't like about the set was when I unpacked them from the shipping box, the gold metal cap at the bottom of the trowels handle (opposite side of the leather loop) was just jangling around the metal stem of the trowel. Had to reglue it. Common issue with cheaper tools, unfortunate it wasn't secured properly. This is a great little set, and would make a great gift as well.

I got this to re-pot Robert Plant, I hope he likes his new home. This set is very nice black stainless steel. The shovel is beautiful, durable, and sturdy, (could easily be used outside and will be). The shears are super nice and sharp. (excellent for opening plastic packages) I like the gloves and they would be great outside, I found they repel dirt and I made a huge mess with them inside. This set is great quality and it will get more use outside than inside because I only have one indoor plant. This would make a nice gift because of its quality and the packaging is giftable.

This gardening kit came with gloves, trowel and shears. It's extremely useful for indoor and light outdoor gardening. The quality is high grade and sturdy. It feels good in your hands if you have arthritis or issues gripping. Very pleased!

Living in the northeast we need to bring all our outdoor plants in for the winter if we want them to survive. Our dining room is currently a jungle of assorted plants and this set comes in handy for occasional trimming and repotting. It’s all we need for winter maintenance. The build is sturdy and should last us a long time. Would make a nice gift for anyone with plants.

This is a really great little garden tool set. The spade is solidly made, has a good grip, and won't bend when you're digging in the soil. The gloves are comfortable and will provide good protection while digging or cutting back your plants. The shears are also well-constructed and easy to use. This set would be a great gift for the gardener in your life.
