I was looking to replace my alclad 3qt nonstick sauce pot but i didn’t want to pay almost $70 for a pot that i would have to replace in 2 to 3 years again. So the best alternative to me was to try a hybrid pot. I have couple of hexaclad pans and i love them but they are very pricy. Ive been using this delarlo pot for about 2 weeks now and i am very happy with it. Dont expect it to be complete nonstick, but it is easier to clean than stainless and you get almost all the benefits of using nonstick pot and will last longerthan plain nonstick pot..

I'm by no means connoisseur of pots. I wanted a replacement for my my cancer causing non-stick pots that I was recklessly using. Stainless steel is healthier, more versatile and more durable. I have a set of All-Clad that I inherited, I never really knew what made it special except being told "don't ever throw them out, they're expensive." I've since learned that stainless steel pots and pans come in different designs. Stainless steel is safer, but a poor inductor of heat. So what they do is put layers of other metals like aluminum that are better inductors between the stainless steel to improve the heat induction. The "All-Clad" means they do this layer all throughout the pot. Other pots and pans you'll see often only do it on the bottom which can cause uneven cooking, especially if you use the side of the pot to cook. The patent for this design expired, so now you can find just as good pots without paying up the wall for name brand. I think is what this is? Aesthetically, it's different than my actual All-Clad. This has a more dull matte finish. My All-Clad was more reflective. My All-Clad has stainless steel lids, this has a glass lid. The handle is a different design. Unexpectedly, this pot also came packaged with a drawstring carrying bag. I have no clue if that was just for packaging to prevent scratches or if I'm supposed to keep the bag for storage? I don't really see what I'd use the bag for, but thanks I guess? lol I've so far used it to cook rice and pasta. It heats up quickly, even on my crappy electric coil stove. It works, gets the job done and I can sleep better at night knowing I'm not giving myself cancer with the non-stick stuff.

I needed a 1-quart induction-compatible pan for making hot cereal. The pan itself works just fine, and has no rivets on the inside, making it much simpler to keep clean. It came with extra nuts to put the handle on, which became apparent why when one of them stripped when I tried to tighten it down. It hasn't come loose so far, and I have a replacement nut if it does.

I bought it to use on an induction stovetop, and after the simple assembly of the handle, I boiled 2 cups of water in just under 2 minutes. This was packaged well and came with extra acorn nuts for the handle should the others come loose and get lost. The glass lid came assembled and fit perfectly. The handle was comfortable to the hand and had a smooth surface that was just as polished as the pan. There is a 1 qt. level mark etched inside the pan.

Un-Sealed, not even taped shut, Basically Open, Biggest Issue, Ordered 1.5qt, Recieved 1.0qt Sauce-Pan.. Typical/Original Amazon Return-PickUp With this Seller, has $7.99 Fee, Return/Replacement procedure option reads 'Replace with Exact'.. obviously that will not work.. my choice was to get Full Refund.. I must drive it across town to a Drop-Off point.. The product/Item itself, the Pan construction seems to be of Good quality, however i have not used it of course.. also to Note, is Durability, Some Assembly is Required i.e. the Handle, its attached via 2 small Tack Welded Threaded Fasteners (ehh vs a rivot, to each 'is own) i personally don't forecast Longevity (Durability)... had this been the typical, usual Amazon Customer Service i.e. a Quick, Practically Effortless Return (that by the way, i've used Very Rarely) that i've grown to Trust over the last many, many hundreds of orders, I may have stayed with this seller..but..
