Outstanding Performance! I can't recommend this sump pump enough—it's a solid 10 out of 5! It made draining my pond for the season a breeze. After researching various options, I chose this one because it features a convenient hose attachment. I simply screwed on my hose, and it worked flawlessly—no clamps or extra fuss required. In just about 15 minutes, it emptied my pond to nearly nothing! I'm already looking forward to using it again in the spring when I power wash the rocks and give everything a thorough cleaning. All you need to do is place the sump pump in the water, and it efficiently sucks up every drop, forcefully draining it through the hose. It’s incredibly fast and effective!

This little pump is decently powerful and seems pretty durable. Compact size, it's good to bring along any camping trip or to just have in case you need it. It has never reached it's described flow rate for me though. Takes about 4 hours to drain a 2500 gal tub. I also wish it had a switchable intake you could hook a hose to for tight spots.

Always good to have a pump like this on hand for unforeseen water emergencies. My old pump bit the dust, and I bought this one largely based on the many favorable reviews here on Amazon. I used it this past week to drain water out of my pool and it performed really well. I checked it every few hours during the process and the motor casing never even got warm - so no concerns about the plastic housing. Its very quiet and smooth running. You DO need to monitor the water level as there is no automated shutoff - running this pump dry would likely be a quick way to ruin the motor. There are several water outlet adaptors included, which are nice to have on hand. The 2450 GPH advertised is more theory than reality - any hose you attach and how you actually arrange a drainage hose will dramatically impact the GPH performance, so keep that in mind if you REALLY need high GPH performance. In my application, I attached a standard 3/4" garden hose with the pump sitting on the bottom of a 5' deep pool - so the water had to rise 5' and then run through 75' of hose (no kinks or turns!) down a gentle slope. I did a bucket test to measure the output at 6.25 GPM / 375 GPH - the specifics of your setup will no doubt change that number but for my application that was fine, and the pump performed really well. I may get a 1.25" hose to have on hand if I need to move more water than that. Overall, really happy with this pump so far. Good value!

This little machine I purchased to empty my pool. It worked great and had my pool emptied quickly. It has a filter screen so if there is debri in the pool it won't get sicked into the device. Looking forward to using it again in the spring when I drain and refill it.
