Have run this sander continuously on multiple occasions for over 4 hours. Sanded an entire 14’ boat hull and deck. The dust collector broke almost immediately, but a little tape fixed that. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced sander!

Works well as it should but cap does not stay on an saw dust flys everywhere. Also feels like the plate where you attach the sandpaper isn’t level so surface being sanded isn’t sanded evenly. It did the job but it took me a lot longer than it should have because I had to keep taping the cap on. It’s a cheap alternative if you don’t mind. I should have just rented a sander . The media could not be loaded. I absolutely loved this thing at first. But after 2 hours of use, the sanding disk flew off. I figured the disk was just ready to be replaced, but the replacement flew right off after a couple seconds too, as did the next. Turns out the hook and loop on this sander is so incredibly fragile that they broke off within 2 hours. I figured "ok well it's a cheap sander so that sort of thing is expected....I'll just go get a new backing plate." Problem is the screws holding it is are INCREDIBLY soft and 3 of 4 instantly stripped in the heads. I had to use an EZ out to remove it. Bought new screws, new plate, went to install and it turns out their "universal" backing plate doesn't match this sanders dimensions. So, I'm giving it a 1 star review for horrible quality of construction, and for not conforming to the universal backing pad size that would let me fix and keep using it. ... show more
