Being a jack of all trades I get to use many different types of tools but this little sander did not disappoint. It did not surprise me on how great it works. I love that I can cut my own pieces of sandpaper to put there so I don't have to buy the pre-cut stuff. Hook and loop type. I've used it to sand various wooden objects and the Finish is very nice. I bought this to help sand trim, crown molding, and chair rails prior to painting. It exceeded my expectations and worked great to not just scuff sand but also to sand down high spots throughout. The M12 line is perfect for this type of detail sander and I’m so glad to have found it for a great price on Amazon. I was nervous about getting a knock off, but it was 100% genuine Milwaukee and came with an assortment of sanding pads. Super convenient and easy. I love love this sander. For small quick jobs, like sanding nail hole fillers on trim. Just cant beat this thing (and predominantly use a surfprep 3x4). Its so lightweight and did i say convenient. It does get noticeably hot but not a bother to me. If I ever loose or break this one, Ill have another on order within minutes. Nice light weight detail sander. Great quality, as usual for Milwaukee. Works well. Easy to change sand paper grit with velcro attachment. I have their 12 volt impact driver and drill which are also great and share the same type of battery.

    • Game Changer!
I do a lot of sanding of small project parts. Some of it is pretty detailed. Makes my fingers raw and takes a long time. This bad boy remedies all of that! Awesome tool. Can get into small crevices and can sand larger areas too. Much better than hand sanding. Light weight and variable speed!

    • Nice, BUT.... NO BATTERY OR CHARGER COMES WITH IT! INSANE.
I bought this for my spouse. He loves it and prefers the Milwaukee brand. However, IT DOES NOT COME WITH THE BATTERY. YOU HAVE TO PURCHASE IT SEPARATE. That's the only reason I'm giving this a 4 instead of 5-star. It infuriates me that Milwaukee is taking the "Harley Davidson" approach to NOT GIVING PEOPLE THE BATTERY! It's disgusting and chinsey. That's why Harley is failing. STOP THE INSANITY MILWAUKEE. You can be better than that. Start providing the battery. Ridiculous. ... show more

    • One of a kind in format and performance.
First and foremost, there is no sander like this. Go ahead and try to find one. Not only is it one of a kind, it is the best performing sander I have in my workshop. They are so useful that I run four per session; one for each grit. I run them each for about 35 minutes and I add a lot of pressure. I use four because they get hot with the pressure I add. I'm pretty sure I would stop selling three of my products if this sander did not exist. ... show more
