UPDATED: I contacted customer service for the manufacturer and finally got my the walking pad working. Here are some tips. If your wifi network name or password has spaces or special characters, change them. Make sure it is just letters and numbers. Attach the magnet to yellow rectangle on the safety bar (even if it is down). If you have any issues with the walking pad, contact DeerRun, they will send you new one or troubleshoot with you if it's within the warranty period. ... show more

Negatives: - Can get squeaky at times (despite keeping it oiled). I will stick a tiny bit of oil under the belt, as the squeaking seems to come from the belt feeder, and this helps. - I use this is an office (not at home), and one coworker bought another Deer Run walking pad, and both remotes affected both walking pads, so we could not use them at the same time. - Not a huge deal, but I wish you could deactivate the beeping of the on/off and up/down buttons - The app is terrible, I never use it Positives: - I have had this for 9 months now, use it 5 times per week for 1.5-2 hours, and it still works great and has not given me any problems other than some squeakiness that comes and goes - The belt is plenty wide and long for my walking stride (5'7) - It is heavy, but not too heavy to lift and stick under my desk when I'm done / vice versa - It is very sturdy, and does not feel like I'm going to fall off or break it with how much I use it ... show more

My wife and I are enjoying this treadmill especially the free app that comes with it. We often try to outrace each other and see who can run the most miles by the end of the week. The speed is great for a beginner and intermediate runner. Not recommended for anyone who wants to run like the flash and has a wide stride. Works when it works. But won't work long. Super janky in trying to align the belt and keep it working. Engine is weak so if you're using it more than a couple times a week, expect it to burn out quick. And after that, expect all the normal run-around from the company getting it repaired/replaced despite whatever "warranty" is offered, but manufacturer or Amazon. Overall, don't bother. You can find something better for a few bucks more and won't waste hours of your time with various forms of customer service reps. ... show more

I have enjoyed my treadmill from the moment I pulled it out of the box four months ago. ⚠️ Warning: Addictive! 😂 I asked for this for my birthday as a way to continue my exercise indoors during the winter months, and I had no idea I would be on it several hours a day. See, there's an app you download that has you walking, jogging or running where you can virtually travel all over. There's exercises and games. The best part, is the people I have met from all over the world. Yes, I talk over a headset to people that I walk or compete against in events. I chose this brand and model because of its 3 year warranty, slick look, and how it folds to put away if I have company. The walking pad part is longer than most and I believe the motor is more durable. Definitely a great value for this price. Of course it comes with a safety strap that auto shuts off the belt that you must clip on everytime you get on the machine.
