The treadmill was packaged with extra ingenuity, protective packing pieces and care almost matching Apple products. It was a joy to just set the treadmill in place, lift and easily set the bar, plug it in and then go. The controls are easy and make logical sense. I haven't tried the remote as it's so easy to select my speed and any changes via the bar, but the remote control looks fine. I have a tenant below me in my house so I was concerned it might run too noisy. The operation is quiet. The belt revolves straight and flows around well without glitches and handles my big weight w/o any issue. I was concerned a smaller more lightweight treadmill might operate less well than a regular sized BIG unit but I can walk any speed I want, quietly and w/o issues. I am relieved and happy with the exercise I get without the unsightly huge type unit marring the smaller space I have for its placement. When unboxing the unit I mistakenly :( thought the power cord was missing, so I called DeerRun customer service, gave them my order number and they FedEx's the power cord to me immediately after a brief description of the issue! Then they followed up with two emails to be sure I received the cord and I was happy with the treadmill! WoW. Talk about World Class Customer Service from all levels of the company!! Negatives: - Can get squeaky at times (despite keeping it oiled). I will stick a tiny bit of oil under the belt, as the squeaking seems to come from the belt feeder, and this helps. - I use this is an office (not at home), and one coworker bought another Deer Run walking pad, and both remotes affected both walking pads, so we could not use them at the same time. - Not a huge deal, but I wish you could deactivate the beeping of the on/off and up/down buttons - The app is terrible, I never use it Positives: - I have had this for 9 months now, use it 5 times per week for 1.5-2 hours, and it still works great and has not given me any problems other than some squeakiness that comes and goes - The belt is plenty wide and long for my walking stride (5'7) - It is heavy, but not too heavy to lift and stick under my desk when I'm done / vice versa - It is very sturdy, and does not feel like I'm going to fall off or break it with how much I use it ... show more

Use it everyday for walking, I have never really ran on it. Comes with oil to lubritace the rubber tread, had it for a few months and as I drip sweat on it and the sweat dries the rubber tread os now sticling and tripping me, so I need to lube the track. Instructions are very helpful, read them. Save the lubricant. Easy to use, phone stand is VERY USEFUL. Best purchase. Noise is pretty soft not loud to me. Not too heavy, wheels underneath are great for moving. Size is for smaller people maybe not for too large, tall, or heavy people. It's like a mini treadmill. Great value, I love it ... show more

I contacted the company asking about a warranty, and they only responded asking for my order number. I haven't heard anything since, despite emailing them twice in 3 weeks. I have enjoyed my treadmill from the moment I pulled it out of the box four months ago. ⚠️ Warning: Addictive! 😂 I asked for this for my birthday as a way to continue my exercise indoors during the winter months, and I had no idea I would be on it several hours a day. See, there's an app you download that has you walking, jogging or running where you can virtually travel all over. There's exercises and games. The best part, is the people I have met from all over the world. Yes, I talk over a headset to people that I walk or compete against in events. I chose this brand and model because of its 3 year warranty, slick look, and how it folds to put away if I have company. The walking pad part is longer than most and I believe the motor is more durable. Definitely a great value for this price. Of course it comes with a safety strap that auto shuts off the belt that you must clip on everytime you get on the machine. When I initially got this treadmill for my apartment, it was squeaky to the point of distraction. I reached out to the company to see what I needed to adjust on my end and they were quick to send me a brand new treadmill at no additional cost to me and did not require me to send the current treadmill back. I now have two treadmills the squeaky one is at my mother's now. The squeak was not overly loud but enough to distract me on longer runs. While it does not have as much bounce as a real full size treadmill, it does the job and fits well. In my apartment.
