This is nice. It was not difficult to install, I ran all my mini-split pipe and wire through the attic and brought it down from the roof to the mini-split out door unit. I had conduit for the electric, but no pipe protection. I have a 4 unit mini-split and it did a great job with getting the pipes down to where the split is with no assistance from anyone else. A simple drill and screw into the house and its is stable as i need it to be, keeping my pipes protected form all the field mice in the area who wanna chew on it. Fittings slide over the pipe with relative ease and it doesn't seem as if the wind will take it. Well other than a tornado, but that's not really an issue because I wouldn't have a house at that point. Over all an easy DIY project for anyone of any basic house maintenance skill. you would have a hard time putting a shelf together from a big box store than getting this put in. IF you need some pipe protection this is great for hiding and keeping your expensive mini-split lines clean and safe from the world. No one wants to replace a $200 pipe. ... show more

If you're doing your own install of a mini split, it's pretty much essential to get a kit like this (or buy the parts separately). I ordered the 3" x 9.5 ft, and it's perfect for a smaller unit installation. I'm using it for a 11k BTU unit. The only issue might be the 9.5 ft run might not be enough if you're putting the outside a distance away from the wall where the inside unit is installed. I've seen other kits that come with over 14 ft of cover. But if you're placing your outdoor unit close to where the indoor unit is installed, this is plenty. The only negative I have and is that I don't like the wall anchors that this kit comes with, but then again I haven't liked any of the anchors that I've gotten with any of the kits. Do yourself a favor and get a good anchor from a hardware store. Also there was a zip tie in my box, that's not listed in the parts that come with this, you can use it to secure your line set to the bracket. ... show more

This is a nice set of mini-split line covers. The 5x 2ft sections give you flexibility when coming down a wall or navigating corners. The included 3-bar wall mount is much nicer than the two 90 degree legs which never seem to align. I was sent the 3" x 10ft kit even though I had selected the 4" x 10ft kit, so be wary of this - I'm guessing there's something lost in translation. ... show more
