  • Not Bad
My one missing tooth is wreaking havoc on my self esteem... blah blah.. found imako! Although I think this is a great product for people who need it, it wasn't the right choice for me. My remaining teeth are in good shape which made the imako teeth overkill. My smile was totally different.. not bad, just different. I wanted to hide my imperfection not change my smile. I found another product that replaces a single tooth and i think that my be my solution. That said, the teeth are really nice looking and easy to fit. They do come out further than your natural teeth, but unless you have a problem closing your mouth over the teeth you have now I wouldn't worry about it. Also, don't put them in and look in the mirror and think "omg! this looks nothing like my old smile!" Like i said, if you have a need for them (several missing teeth, crooked teeth, discolored, metal showing from dental work etc.)they are great. Just fit them, wear them around for the day. You will get used to them and be able to make a more informed judgment of the product. The size! I know they say the small size fits most people but i should have gotten the large. Here's the thing... the small teeth were longer than my natural teeth but the width was smaller. so if you have a wide smile you may want to get the large. The teeth wont be longer they'll be wider so that when you smile they wont stop while your smile is still going! It's a perfect set of teeth. People will think that you had dental work or dentures or something, but guess what?! They're going to think that if you have dental work or get dentures too! I think this is a great buy.. even if you can't smoke and drink coffee. I bet you're not smiling as much as you'd like to or should be. If you need more than a little bleaching and a tooth get these and smile all the time! ... show more

  • Thicker than advertised, teeth very large!,if you have $40 to throw away then these are for you
I have and always have had bad teeth. They have several cavities, bottom and top are all crooked, had braces as a child but due to brittle teeth they kept falling off therefor they were never able to be straightened. No matter what work I have had nothing has made any significant change in my oral health or cosmetic apperance. Aside from spending thousands on oral surgery to get veneer implants or saving money and have all of my teeth pulled to fit for dentures(which isn't an option since I am only 33), nothing could be done in a short time frame to improve my smile. So I thought great! A way to have a decent smile while I begin this long and expensive road of fixing my teeth one at a time. I researched so many products, read hundreds of customer reviews, watched so many YouTube reviews that I probably knew more about this product than some of their sales team😂 I measured my mouth, put in my order and received my teeth 2 days later. Immediately I could see they were thicker than they advertise( they say it is 1mm thick but forget to mention there is a thick strip adhered to the back which adds atleast 3-5mm's. I spent, off and on,roughly 10 hours trying to fit them. I did EVERYTHING including some "hacks" I saw on YouTube ,to get them to fit properly. I did eventually get them in but no matter what you do you have at least alittle bit of a buck teeth look and a very pronounced lisp. Aside from that the teeth are quite large. I have a small mouth and teeth for a man but I held them up to several other men and women to compare and they were much larger every time. I'm glad they were only $30-$40 because it was definantly mone in the trash. After my experience here I am convinced the "customer reviews" and "video reviews" are paid by imeko or they were special fitted by them in order to get the fit and look they show. I find it hard to believe myself and everyone else I compared these to are just a bunch of tiny teeth weirdos. I would not buy more nor would I recommend these to anyone, not even as part of a costume. They just look ridiculous. ... show more

  • Well worth the money and will purchase a backup set!
Color: Small Natural White
First off, the order process was easy, tracking was perfect, and my items arrived late afternoon the day it was scheduled to arrive. I only order from Amazon occasionally, but I was impressed with the speed and efficiency! Kudos to Amazon on their process and delivery. Now for the product. I ordered the small natural teeth and an extra bag of pink material and white beads. I didn't end up needing any of the extra material, but I'm glad I ordered it in case I need to make adjustments or if I need extra for a second set. I ordered the small. Now the website advises taking a measurement across your 4 front teeth. Less than or equal to 1-1/8 inches is small and 1-1/4 inches or more is large. I'm an average to smaller sized male, 5'8", 160lbs and my measurement is just under 1-1/4. I considered the large, but everything I read or saw on the Internet said that the small was better for the average sized mouth. I ordered the small and am glad I did...they are a perfect fit. Unless you are over 1-1/4 inch across your 4 front teeth, I recommend the small. I've seen videos and pictures of the bleached white and unless you have bleached lower teeth or dentures, definitely get the natural color. Even these are a bit bright, but I'm a smoker, so my bottom teeth have been slightly colored from smoking. Fitting these is not difficult, but you HAVE to pay attention to the instructions and watch some videos on YouTube, especially the one from Nancy, the inventor and her husband. I got an almost perfect fit the first time, but tried to make it better and screwed up the whole fit. I was frustrated and decided to try again the next day. That's the beauty of these...you can always put them in some near boiling water, re-melt the plastic, and start all over again. The second time I got a fit I'm happy with. I've worn them daily ever since and they are very comfortable. If not, you need to re-set them...there should be no pain, rubbing, or interference with bottom teeth with your jaw closed. I smoked with them in a few times for a little coloration to match my bottom teeth, but usually take them out unless I'm using my e-cigarette. I guess this may help me complete the switch from cigarettes to the e-cigarette, since I don't feel the need to take them out when vaping. There's no way I could eat with them in without absolutely destroying them. I avoid drinking anything with them in, unless I'm using a straw, which completely bypasses the appliance. I only have one molar left in my mouth, so I'm a tough case when it comes to fitting. On the left side, the end of the appliance matched exactly with the last tooth on that side. On the right side, I'm missing the last 2 teeth that would normally anchor that side. I ordered extra plastic material because of this. I built up extra plastic in that area in place if those 2 teeth. While not perfect, since there's no solid anchor at the end of the appliance on that side, it's plenty solid. The fit is tight enough on my other teeth and the extra material keeps the end stiff and in place, so I have no issues and it still works with the missing teeth. If you have teeth missing anywhere in the middle of other teeth, it can actually help to hold the unit tightly, but if they're at the end of the appliance, it can be problematic, but with patience can be done. I've had bad teeth since birth. Brushed 2-3 times daily, minimum, and still had cavities almost every dental visit. Not having insurance for why too many years has taken it's toll. I've managed to keep my front teeth and have a bridge on the left side. Since the back ones aren't very visible, taking care of these frint teeth has been the goal and all I've been able to afford. Last week, I chipped my right front tooth badly, approximately 25% gone. My years of covering the best I could for my bad teeth was over instantly with that chip...it looks horrible and very noticible. Try as I might to hide it, I could tell people were noticing at work and client locations that I visit. I'm saving up to fix it, but until then, this product is a godsend. I can hardly believe that this product works as well as it does for $30 + shipping ($6 for the extra material, which I didn't end up needing, even with the last 2 teeth on my right side missing). Is it perfect? No. Will it work for everyone? No. But if you have enough teeth left to anchor the appliance and plenty of patience, this solution can change your life. I went from a decent smile to looking like a crackhead with one huge chipped tooth. This product changed that, very affordably and quickly. Now my upper teeth look MUCH better than even before the chipped tooth. My girlfriend is impressed with them and is jealous that I was able to fix the problem this cheaply and quickly...she's spent many months and hundreds of dollars on dental work in the last couple of years. While I'll still need to get work done, it's not an emergency anymore and I can save, getting the work done at a pace I can afford. If you're skeptical, don't be...these will work as long as you have the teeth to bond and mold to, you CAN make these work, if you are serious enough. I can't thank Imako enough for the product they sell and will be a repeat customer! They really are changing things for the better for people, one smile at a time. If you've never experienced the discrimination that can come with bad teeth, you may not understand how people are turned down for jobs, may lose business deals, and social opportunities simply because of the appearance of their teeth. It even becomes the thing that people remember about you the most...a label that sticks to you in the minds of others. Most folks can't help it...it's a natural aversion that many people have, but now there is a way to change it. Once you have a new smile, people will notice...I tell them that I had a cosmetic dental appliance fitted. It's no one's business that I was the one who fitted it...lol. Everyone who has noticed, so far, has thought it was professionally done...and I just smile! ... show more

  • be very careful with these. the molding material stuck to my normal tooth and i chipped my enamel
Color: Small Natural White
I realllllly wanted to like this product, I really did. The first 50 attempts were a failure so I took a break, took a nap, and came back later to play with it again. Each time I heated the material to mold it to my teeth, the harder it got to stick. On the last attempt, some of the molding material actually got stuck onto my teeth and I had a HORRIBLE time getting it off. During my attempts with scissors, tweezers, and finally sandpaper, I also knocked some of the tooth enamel off in the process. I'm not even sure now if it's all the way off yet or not as I still feel something there. While the entire tooth thing didn't stick to my teeth, some of the molding material must have gotten hung up while trying to mold them. It was downright annoying and still is even as I speak. After the first few attempts to get this thing stuck right, I noticed that the back would not stick at all. I followed the directions, even watched YouTube videos, even one where the owner herself showed exactly how to do it. Didn't work. Once it hardens it is also extremely rigid . I have a gap between my front teeth and the bonding material went right into that gap between my teeth ,so when I went to put the cooled product back on, there was a lump that needed to go between my teeth there at that gap and that kinda hurt/was uncomfortable. Also made me worry I'd do more damage to my teeth. I did get a good snug fit the first go around . I could talk fine, it didn't affect that at all. But i looked like Mr Ed. even my kids were weirded out so I know it looked bad. Overall i would not recommend this product. the color was off too.. didnt look natural at all in my opinion. for the first time in my life I was glad to see my normal teeth again when i took this thing out. i'm sad but will try secure smile next. maybe i'll have better luck with them. ... show more

  • Stain gross color too fast
Color: Large Natural White
Not sure how to rate these. I've had them at least a month. I didnt use that stupid pink stuff they come with but used the white beads you can buy, melt n mold. I molded tbe teeth into tbe white bead material and they've stayed well znd look "normal" for fake teeth. I like the actual shape of the teeth. However, within a week tbey turned colors ftom nice color to dark brown and now just gross. I only use them in social situations so no eating on them ( wouldn't be possible anyway cuz they are cheap plastic) and no constant use. They are stained yuck color now. I note that I don't drink coffee or pop so why did they turn this gross color so soon? Its too bad cuz having black teeth is just as gross as having no teeth. Id like to rebuy more but its not worth it to buy every few weeks. ... show more

  • The best you're gonna get at this price point, great option to have
Color: Small Natural White
For the price you really cant beat it. For some context as to how Ive used these, being a smoker and being a former drug user I really did a lot of damage to my front teeth, it effected my speech and also for years I had been really conscious about my smile. Not being able to afford actual dental work which can cost thousands of dollars I found these after being tired of being made fun of for my speech and also not being able to smile really Now, I will start off by saying they mean it when they say do not smoke with these they WILL stain quite fast, when I purchase another pair I will likely do the clear coat method to help with staining as they state in the instructions, not noticed any staining from food or drink just smoking though Also the teeth need some cosmetic work to look the best they can, if you want them to be more detailed youll need to get crafty and line the teeth with like let's say a hobby marker (think Gundam markers and panel lining) even without this they look passable though but do noticeably degrade after awhile and start to look more like a solid block so I highly recommend taking some time to touch them up to look the best they can As far as the hold, never had an issue and they never feel as if they will fall out, I wear them the entire day they can be uncomfortable at first but the more ive worn them the more comfortable they become now if you eat with them (which you can, carefully) you should be careful not to do a lot of tough food or food that will require pulling (steak, wings, pizza can be an issue, etc) but you can eat with them just be mindful. Should you? Not if you can avoid it but obviously on dates or whatever youre not gonna want to take them out, just be careful what you eat with them in as they are only held in with friction. The molding process seemed stressful at first but just keep in mind if they get stuck you can hold some hot water in your mouth and they'll come out, also if you dont get a mold quite right just keep taking them out and trying again, you can do it as many times as you like and its fine I did mine probably about four times before getting it how I liked it. Overall more people should know about this option and Id highly recommend them to anyone who can't afford say snap in veneers or actual dentures, its a great alternative that works as intended. ... show more

  • I can open my mouth again
Color: Small Natural White
I am in recovery from both bulimia and a fentanyl & meth addiction; repeated exposure first to stomach acid and then to drugs absolutely ruined my teeth. I don’t have a “before” photo because I do not and will never allow there to be any photographic evidence of how bad my teeth look, but for reference, I’m missing two of my front teeth, not the top middle two but the ones on either side of those two. It’s bad. I’m saving up for implants, but, dental anxiety aside, implants are crazy expensive so it’s going to be a while until I can do that. I’ve had these for about a week, I’ve taken several photos of myself since I got them but when I was trying to find one to include in this review, I realized I didn’t have any where you could see what they look like because I’ve conditioned myself to always smile with my mouth closed, so I had to take this one specifically for this review. I’m so happy with them. They’re obviously not professional quality veneers, but they’ll do until I can pay for implants. I can smile and laugh without reflexively covering my mouth, I can talk to people without constantly monitoring how wide I’m opening my mouth. It’s hard to explain to someone with good teeth how devastating severe tooth damage is to your self esteem, and how much better I feel now. I didn't get the impression right on the first try (idk what I did wrong but when I went to try them on they wouldn’t go back in), but it was an easy fix: I put them back in hot water, smoothed the plastic back out, and tried again and that time it worked fine. I imagine I’ll have to replace them a few times before I can afford implants, they’re not meant to be permanent, but they do what I needed them to do and they’ll work in the meantime. ... show more

  • I would love to have given four or five stars to this ...
Color: Small Natural White
I would love to have given four or five stars to this product however, it fails to meet expectations as well as the advertised results. It, after implicitly following video/manual insttuctions does not conform to the "imprint" of my teeth. The material is so so thick that an overbite and/or upper lip bulge is unavoidable. One review I read before purchasing this mentioned using a Bremel tool to refine the interior shape after imprinting the first fit. I see that this step is absolutely neccessary. This product has the potential to be an excellent temporary veneer for many who have insecurities about imperfect teeth and or smiles. A sincere approach to redesign this product would eventually serve to have that company expand and grow beyond belief. The concept is sound. The excecution of that design is not. Specificity of the water temperature and duration of the device in "that" temperature water is what is lacking. First. Provide a tray to place the warmed up device into before installing it in the mouth. Second. That way, as with a dental office would do, the customer can slowly "bite" down into that tray, with the warmed up device readily placed.... Not warm up the tray. Then customer can bite down to ensure a proper mold of the upper teeth Instructions dictate holding/molding by hand the warmed up piece side to side and then pressing onto the front teeth. That will cause the device to slip from side to side, while it cools down rapidly, causing an ill fit. The quality of the material and the color is correct for most persons and of most complexions. However, the thickness of the plastic and the fact that there is no "base" for the warmed up veneer to stabilize the "bite" is what is the design flaw. This, again has the ability to be an incredible product. A potential lifesaver for many. Small yet major considerations to the refinement of the installation process and the addressment of the initial thickness will save this product from being a true dissappointment. Address these two issues and relaunch the product as a 2.0 version. Provide a tray, to bite down, lighten the thickness of the veneer .... And specify exact temperatures as to heat the product up first... The time it takes to press this onto your teeth does not comply with the temperature settings provided with the instructions. The product will cool down way before you can "set" it in place. It will slip and slide before cooling down within several seconds. ... show more
