I bought this item a little over 1 year ago to help with staying at least a little bit active while at home. Before the pandemic, I used to go to the gym and use the squat rack for leg day, so I bought this with the goal of keeping those leg day gains going. I was happy to find that the set came with the bar, a couple grips, different resistance bands, hooks for the bands, and a carrying bag. But when I first tried doing squats with it, I realized that the 18-inch bar itself was a little bit small for me. So I contacted the seller to ask if they had any options for a longer bar. They replied very quickly and even asked me what length I was looking for. They then sent me a link to their listing for the longer bar, and most surprisingly, instead of an exchange, they were willing to send me the new bar for free! They indeed sent me a longer, upgraded metal bar for free, and it was a game-changer! Doing squats with the upgraded bar and bands was the closest I could get to replicating a barbell squat without hitting the gym. The elasticity of the bands may take some getting used to, but as long as you're careful and you evenly distribute the tension on the bands, they can be very durable. Although nothing beats a squat rack for me, these bands are fantastic for a home workout! All in all, it has been a great product, and even better customer service. Their customer service representatives were kind and extremely accommodating, so I am happy to say that their service is quite literally the best customer service I've experienced that I can remember. 5 stars! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this system about 3 months ago. So far I like it, except for 1 major problem and 1 minor problem. The GOOD: The bands seem to be good quality. The bar seems good so far. I wish it was longer. Since purchasing it I’ve seen they have longer bars, I wish I knew that before I bought this one. 22 is okay, but 30 or so would be PERFECT. The handles are actually excellent. The BAD: The carabiners it came with a pretty poor quality. First, the screw open/close mechanism doesn’t twist open or close easily. The threading is off, so it gets stuck. Also, the openings are fine for the smaller band, but it is too small for the green band. To use it properly with the green band, I had to go buy 2 larger carabiners. It would be GREAT if they had a large open hook carabiner for this, similar to the X3 bar system, which this is clearly modeling itself after. > The MILD Frustration: The bad it came with is cheap and flimsy. It is also a little small. It is hard to get the bar into the bag, the zipper had problems after one week If they would upgrade the carabiners and the bag, this would be a PERFECT set up. I have seen AFTER I ordered my system that they have other options with bigger bars, the photos look like better bags, and if they have better carabiners, I would have happily bought one of those. ... show more

I'm hoping the seller see's this, and fixes the problem, or I'll have to return this home gym. As you can see from the attached picture, the opening's on the triangle end attachments have different size openings. Only the larger one will fit. So I can't use the bar. I wasted a couple of hours going to both Lowes and Home Depot to find one, but neither store carries these........................ UPDATE! Seller contacted me, apologized, and explained the problem was a mix up with different batches at their factory. The seller went the extra mile and replaced the entire unit. So my first comment regarding this seller, they stand behind their product, and they will go the extra mile to correct any problem..... Now, regarding the gym unit itself, I am more than pleased with the quality, ease of use, portability, time saving workout, safety, and effectiveness of the workout I get. I've been working out since the 1970's, and this is one of the best pieces of exercise equipment I've used. It not only works my muscles, it works my stabilizer muscles and entire core in a way that gym machines just can't. Bottom line, both the seller and the portable gym are top notch. ... show more

I'm so glad I got this set instead of blowing $550 on an X3 Bar. The quality of the bar and bands is great. I'm still using the 2 smallest bands. There are still 2 bigger bands I can progress to and even start combining them after that. The only thing it was missing was a platform but that was easy enough to make on my own anyway. ... show more

This is a good solid product so far. I have been using it for a few weeks without any problem. I haven't used all of the accessories yet as I am mainly doing the exercises for the X3 system. The X3 is a high end product with a high end price. I was looking for something similar at a much lower cost. I found another brand that had the band connection style like the X3 but I got scared away from it because of the pictures of it breaking at the ends. I came to this product with the features I wanted and solid quality. The triangle links are much stronger than regular carabiners but they are inconvenient since they take several seconds for me to screw open and closed. I searched and finally found large auto locking carabiners with a high weight capacity. I can change bands in a couple seconds instead of pushing a minute to do so. On caveat is that you lose a couple inches of tension with the carabiners instead of the links that came with it. The other thing is that buying the carabiners adds to the overall cost. But it's up to you whether it's worth it. I was happy to take a product I trust and spend a little more to make it more enjoyable. This is the item that I found that makes it easier to use in less time.
