This is a well reviewed, highly rated air fryer. I cook regularly for my wife and I, usually two, occasionally three. So this 2.6 quart air fryer looked to be a perfect fit for us. I received it this weekend and immediately put it to work. Some positive features: - this thing cooks FAST. I made chicken nuggets, and the first batch was completed in 12 minutes (6 minutes per side). My wife and son absolutely loved them. I have struggled with cooking chicken in the past - too gooey or too dry. This air fryer just nailed them - well cooked, moist but not oily or dry. Probably the best chicken I've ever prepared. And they were so popular, I made 3 batches (of 12 nuggets). Each batch was just as perfect and delicious. No warmup required, just set the timer and Bam! you're there. - Super simple to use. There's a simple analog temperature wheel, up to 400 degrees. I did the nuggets at 360, and they were perfect. The outside is cool to the touch, with well placed handles on top of the unit, and for the basket. Simple, easy and safe to pull the basket with one hand on each handle. - super simple to clean. In some brilliant design, both the basket and air tray are nonstick coated. Make sure to use rubber tipped tongs so as to not scratch the nonstick, and everything works like magic. Quick wipeout, and a touch of soap, water and nonstick brush, and you're done in one minute. - The unit is super light. I was surprised how easy it was to lift and place on the counter. I had thought that I would need to clear a bit of space on the counter, but it's so darn light, it will easily fit in the pantry, shelf or drawer. My wife is so happy. Still, it feels strong and quality. We got the black but it doesn't quite match our Breville units - now it doesn't have to! I'm very impressed by the design, and usability. While you can pay more for additional features, honestly, it doesn't need additional electronics or LED screen. Darn thing just works. And I got this unit from Amazon Warehouse for $32 - it feels like I stole it. This unit makes me wish I'd picked one up sooner. Highly Recommended. ... show more

My oven was improperly wired at my apartment complex when I moved in. Management, who handles appliances, refuses to fix it while I am in residence (eg they'll fix it for the next person but I can suck it). This has required adaptation over the years to my cooking habits. The stove has two hobs that work, two that don't, and if you keep things to half the oven, it MIGHT cook if the stars are properly aligned. I got an Instant Pot one Prime Day, and it's been the best dang thing. But, as someone who doesn't cook with a lot of oil, and loves french fries, that has been the biggest thing I have missed, and often have spent way too much on fast food fries as a result (ew). So thus began the hunt. The hunt to find an air fryer that was small enough for my very limited counter space, without needing too much attention during the cooking process. I didn't want the one my mother has because it aggravates even her, requiring preheating and, unfortunately, a lot of adjusting times. It became such a source of frustration for her that I put off finding one for myself for quite a while. Alas, finding something that met all the requirements I had, plus fit my limited budget was a bit of a pain. My mother had purchased hers for under $50, and I felt surely I could do the same! But that happened to be the sale price of the one she had purchased. Yikes. And then one day my rice cooker decided to go kaput. So I was scrolling Amazon in annoyance at having to replace multiple appliances in less than half a year (I wound up having to replace three, in addition to my purchase of an air fryer. When it rains, it pours!)-- and I looked up the air fryers. So many different options, vast variety of sizes, styles, colors...and PRICES. Finding this air fryer I could only hope that it would work well enough and that the rating was on par with reality. The temperature is by dial, and the power is by a dial, as well, that you turn to the number of minutes you wish to cook your food for. It's very simple, fairly idiot-proof, and worked great right out of the box. I've had the timer glitch out once, getting stuck at the 5m mark, and kept cooking while not counting down. I caught it. Nothing caught fire. It was fine. It hasn't done it since. It's pretty simple to clean, but you want to be thorough and careful. Don't leave behind soap scum or whatnot, which is a little tricky. You CAN just wipe it clean with a paper towel a few minutes after use once the tray has cooled down. It's not loud to my knowledge, but I am hard of hearing and wear hearing aids. It's nowhere near as loud as the microwave. It cooks things very evenly, it hasn't given me any problems outside of the one glitch. The limitations you have are temperature control -- you don't know the exact temp you're setting as it's not digital, it's just a dial, so you can turn it, but, without digital temp tracking-- who knows. Overall, if you are looking for one decently small and easy to use for your chicken nuggets and fries? This foots the bill very simply. Not high-capacity, so best for a single person, or two people who don't eat large portion sizes. ... show more

As a Single person who has issues with food control, this air fryer not only controls how much I eat but is so much easier to use and clean. I have a small fryer and a large one but this one is the best. So easy to use, just plug it in adjust the temperature and the minutes and it does the rest. This is my first purchasing and using an air fryer. I wanted a medium sized for two people that was affordable to try and this one is easy to use. I’m currently using it in our RV. The first time I used it to make sweet potato fries from a raw potato and it turned out delicious! My next two attempts were frozen fries and they also turned out great and I reheated seafood leftovers which reheated way better than putting them in the microwave. I haven’t tried cooking raw meat yet but friends say they do and like the way they turn out. This fryer is easy to use with a simple dial for temperature and a dial for minutes. It’s very easy to clean and I love the grey color. I would recommend buying this product ... show more
