  • Really nice stove
I really like this stove. It's light and compact when put up and easier to set up than you would think. It does warp a bit from use but still folds up easily. It can be used as a raised fire pit if you leave the top off. The spark arrestors in it work very well, been using the stove every day for the past month and havent seen a single ember come out of the chimney. You do need to ieep an eye on the chimney and clean it on a regular basis, the chimney cap it comes with does get clogged easily from creosote but is really easy to clean, just take the chimney off and give it a few light taps with the poker and shake the creosote out. I'd say that the best case use for this stove would be backpacking or bikepacking in cold weather or in places that you need to keep a close eye on what your fire is doing. ... show more

  • So far, so good. Like the unit during the first burn.
The media could not be loaded. I don't think the gloves provided are for Wookie sized people. Well packed and shipped on time. Feels very light. After reading others issues with the sharp metal, the first thing I did was head to the shop and deburr all the parts. Being a machinist we are taught to deburr all of our parts in manufacturing. Anything we make that has a burr on it is our liability as we created the burr. Why the manufacturers didn't follow this same standard principal is beyond me however, being fabricated in China might be the reason. Just be careful. After deburring the chimney pipe, I set out to find a way to roll it with one person. Using a piece of white 2-in schedule 40 pvc, and some tape, I was able to roll the chimney by myself without any creases. I taped the chimney material to the PVC pipe and started to roll the entire thing all at once. As I put the rings on one end I would remove the tape in that area. As I worked my way down with rings, I kept removing the tape. Once I was at the other end with all rings on, I was able to lightly pull the PVC out from the chimney. I then started applying the metal bands around the chimney so it would hold its shape when I found some of the bands were smaller than others. This adds a slight bit of difficulty to the build having parts that don't all match however a little deburring on the inside of the rings seem to solve the problems. Once the chimney was rolled the rest goes together just as you might see on the web. I'm working on my first burn now while I write this, and I think this stove has the potential to get me through chilly nights in my hot tent this fall. The only drawback I see during the initial burn is the joint between the sides and the bottom. There seems to be a small Gap that will let smoke out depending on the draft going up the chimney. Will work on this more to see if there's a simple solution. First burn done and I like the controls. Everything works. I will swap chimney end for end on the next burn to set a curve in the material on each end. Will pair with my teepee and stove jack shortly for a in tent trial with CO2 detector close for reference. ... show more

  • A great little stove.
Size: TSG-7.2' pipe,16.5L
First off the stove is light for its size. The titanium lives up to its reputation. Despite how thin it feels and the abuse I have put it through it has no dents. The window is a nice touch but make sure you know how to make a fire in the stove or your windows will be covered in soot. It's still relatively easy to clean off especially with a razer blade. I keep a cheap one in there with it. The chimney takes some practice but once you have it the portability is pretty unmatched. Just be careful and don't lose the rings. Always wear gloves when handling the stove as it's thin and pretty easy to cut yourself. The legs are pretty thin. I recommend using bare metal stakes if your tent has no floor where you set it up. When I have used it I had very minor leaks but that is to be expected as the stove is not our tight on isn't designed to be. I got the smaller one and despite the tiny size it was enough space to hold a pot. I wouldn't put a cast iron on it however. All in all for the price it is a great titanium stove for hot tenting. ... show more

  • Very impressive
Size: TSG-7.2' pipe,16.5L
I have now used this several times and a large Paul Molly Bromance tent and I will say that this little hot stove is unbelievable. It heated the tent up so well that we had to crack a door more than once it works really well to control the flame and to regulate the burn time, if you dial it in properly, it will burn two hours Per two logs. I have been very impressed with this unit and would buy it again. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Amazing
Size: TSG-7.2' pipe,16.5L
I always wanted a tent stove and teepee tent. After years of waiting i picked this one. Not over priced but not the lowest. Reviews was good. It turns heads always . heats tent way to hot 😂. Be great once wintwr is here. Cleans up nicely. Great for cooking top also. When first doing pipe make sure have pool noodle. At helps not dent pipe. Spent hours doing this failing. Then pool noodle done that fast. Seals up nice not smoke into tent . spark cover rings in would replace kinda thin material. Would buy again best choice at a piece to get u a top quality stove not hurting ur pocket. Would point others to this as first stove to try. ... show more

  • Great stove!
Tested this out about a week ago when it got down to 2 degrees were I live. I was able to keep the internal temperature of my hot tent (a fairly large hammock tent) a consistent 49 degrees. That's almost a 50 degree different, not bad at all. I don't really plan on camping in that kind of cold again but I assume maintains the internal temperature would be easier and more comfortable when the external temperature is above 20 degrees. This was easy to put together and use. As for the chimney it was pretty easy to roll just look it up on YouTube there are some videos explaining how to do it with one person. I would absolutely recommend this stove. ... show more
